Muhammad in the Quran, Vol. 1: Chapter 20

Also see chapters 19 and 21.

"Slander is negative, dark or dirty claims, statements, etc. used against someone or something. The negative aspects in the claim, statement, etc. normally are exaggerated, partly untrue, or simply made up lies."

One way to fight opponents, is to slander them. Slander is cheap, and if your followers and others believe in it, it is efficient. Whether what is said is true or not, and whether it is honesty to use it, all too often is quite another question.

We have a sizeable list below, but if you read the Quran, you will find more - the claimed honest and reliable semi-saint Muhammad used not a little slander.

Remember that also the use of f.x. bad names is slander (therefore include chapters 54-56 in the list of slander), and that both slander and name throwing, etc. are methods of discrimination and of incitement to and intended discrimination, and methods for making opponents "bad enemies" and low quality.

We are a bit thorough on slander, bad names, etc. partly also because Muslims in non-Muslim areas and countries often complain about being slandered, discriminated on, or in other ways negatively treated. Then it may be relevant to know these 4 chapters: "Discrimination of non-Muslims", "Bad foretellings about non-Muslims", "Bad names and characteristics for non-Muslims", "Claims that non-Muslims had sold the "real" religion". This especially as this is not simply slander and discrimination, etc., but the official and confirmed "truths" about non-Muslims taught to all Muslims. It is a bit special to complain about discrimination, slander, etc., and at the same time behave according to a religion, a culture, and laws stating that their own slander, name throwing, discrimination, etc. is the holy truth and represent the highest and most just moral code.

Slander is condemned in the Quran - at least when used against Muslims - but all the same Muhammad and the Quran use it quite a lot, and so do today's Islam and Muslims. (We sometimes wonder if their claims and statements and slander against non-Muslims are willful al-Taqiyas (lawful lies) or if they really do not have more knowledge and education so that they really believe - not to say are able to believe - what they are saying. Read Internet and you find a lot of dirty and ignorant slander.

If you ever are accused of slandering Islam, Allah, Muhammad, or Muslims, show the accuser this chapter + f.x. the next 3 chapters. That is the reality for many a Muslim - and the official reality for Islam, as this is what the Quran says. Can you be accused and/or judged for slandering if the Quran and Islam are worse? - especially as the Quran's slandering is not just angry words, but the official "truth" in Islam and to Muslims?

##001 2/10a: "In their (non-Muslims'*) hearts is a disease - - -". Not to believe in Islam = to be sick in your mind or heart. What is the case for Muslims if the Quran is a made up book?

002 2/12a: “Of a surety, they (non-Muslims*) are the ones who make mischief”. A clear distinction – and the raids Muslims already were making – and more to follow – was no mischief? Wrong. And an as serious question: Is there a moral lesson to learn? - Muslims today are making a lot of mischief, but they are so used to their own somewhat "special" and often immoral code of moral that they are unable to see what immoralities they are doing - "they realize (it) not". (F.x. the "Islamic State" - IS - today, anno 2014. And NB: They are behaving just like Muhammad did, and thus are the best Muslims there are.)

003 2/13d: "- - - they (non-Muslims*) are the fools, but they do not know". Who are the fools - non-Muslims or Muslims - depends entirely on whether the Quran is a made up book or not. Islam also tells (f.x. A2/35) that: "By their blind arrogance they depress the good and encourage the evil". Anyone used to normal moral and ethical philosophy, may be excused for believing this is about Muslims living according to especially the surahs from Medina. Cfr. f.x. IS anno 2114 (today).

004 2/76d: "- - - do ye (Muslims*) not understand (their (non-Muslims'*) aim)?" What is indicated here, is that non-Muslims just try to cheat you to leave Islam, not to tell you the truth. This even today is what many Muslims believe.

005 2/100: "Nay, most of them (non-Muslims*) are faithless". Wrong according to normal definitions - many of them had a faith, but different from Islam. And the Quran only defines Islam as faith - everything else is un-faith. (But what if the Quran is a made up book? - or comes from dark forces?)

006 3/118c: “- - - they (non-Muslims*) will not fail to corrupt you (Muslims*)”. No good people. But the exact text says (translated from Swedish): “- - - they love all that can distress you - - -.” And that is not the same meaning by far. There is a significant difference between "to corrupt" and "enjoy your distress". All the same: Detestable people.

007 3/118d: “They (non-Muslims*) only desire your (Muslims*) ruin - - -”. Even if it is not true: There is a good reason for despising such people according to the Quran. A good reason not to associate with them and keep a distance to them - and not believe what they say. Effect: Little information which could correct Muhammad's claims - and less resistance against making wars against these bad people.

008 3/118e: “- - - rank hatred (of Muslims*) has already appeared from their (non-Muslims') mouths - - -”. Even if this may be true for only a few of them: Is it possible to find worse human beings? - if they really are real humans? At least do not believe anything they tell you which can influence your belief in Muhammad and Islam. Good psychology if a leader wants to keep correcting information away from his followers - not to mention if he wants to attack the claimed bad ones - to attack vermin is a good deed.

009 3/118f: “- - - what their (non-Muslims*) hearts conceal is far worse (than rank hatred against Muslims*) - - -”. True or not; worse creatures than non-Muslims is not possible to find - according to the Quran. Not good propaganda for integration. But good for inducing detesting and superiority feeling - a starting point for hate and war and suppression.

010 3/119c: “- - - they bite off their very fingertips at you in rage (if you are lucky in some way or other*)”. Despicable people - true or not do not matter very much, as long as the followers believe it. And also pep-talk.

011 3/120a: “If aught that is good befalls you (Muslims*), it grieves them (non-Muslims*) - - -”. Unkind fellows.

012 3/120b: “- - - but if some misfortune overtakes you (Muslims*), they (non-Muslims*) rejoice at it”. There is a good reason to dislike them - or worse.

013 3/120e: This verse is one of many in the Quran painting non-Muslims very black and inducing distaste and worse against them. Fertilizer for the cultivation of the strong fascism and war rhetoric in the surahs from Medina.

014 3/197: "- - - their (non-Muslims*) ultimate abode is Hell - - -". See 3/77b above.

015 3/199e: "- - - sell the Signs of Allah for a miserable gain - - -". This and similar expressions mostly are used in the Quran in connection to persons not wanting to enter or wanting to leave Islam, and in connection to claims about falsifications of the Bible - some ones will sell their future in the claimed Paradise "for a miserable gain" in this life.

016 4/52a: "They (the People of the Book - Jews, Christians, Sabeans*) are (men) Allah hath cursed - - -". To use small letters: BAD PEOPLE! But is the claim true? - it never was proved, and much is wrong in the Quran.

017 4/52b: "They (the People of the Book - Jews, Christians, Sabeans*) are (men) Allah hath cursed - - - have no one to help". Wrong if the god(s) they believe in - f.x. Yahweh - really exists.

018 4/53b: "Behold, they give not a farthing to their fellow-men". A bit strange claim as generosity always has been a positive thing in Christianity. And not less strange as hardly any of the really international aid or help NGOs started in Muslim countries, but in Christian ones. Claims are cheap, reality is reliable. This quote simply is wrong.

Fact: Generosity is more central in Christianity than in Islam. Compare f.x. the Quran's words that you shall give, but not so much that you hurt your own life, with the Bible's story about the widow and her 2 small copper coins (f.x. Luke 21/14). Not to mention the difference in mental generosity between the Quran's message that you shall revenge a bad deed with a similar deed, and kill apostates, with Jesus' message that you shall love and do good to also your enemies (f.x. Luke 6/27).

019 4/60d: "Their (non-Muslims'*) (real) wish is to resort together for judgment (in their disputes) to Satan - - -". That is the kind of people non-Muslims are - at least according to the Quran!

###020 4/76c: “Those who believe (Muslims*) fight in the cause of Allah, and those who reject Faith (non-Muslims*) fight in the cause of Evil: so fight ye against the friends of Satan - - -.” To say the least of it: The words are not to be misunderstood: Fight the non-Muslims, because they are the friends of Satan. Though we personally – and as far as we know also others – just wonder: Some great force or religion which teaches stealing, destruction, rape, enslavement, suppression, murder, hate, war – is that a good, benevolent something or not? – or is it a devil? – perhaps a devil in disguise?

021 4/76i: “- - - fight ye (Muslims*) against the friends of Satan (non-Muslims*)- - -“. Of course you want to do that – and of course all non-Muslims are friends of Satan. Hate mongering. There is more like this in the Quran.

##022 4/76j: "- - - the friends of Satan - - -". A name used by Muhammad and the Quran for non-Muslims. Quite understandable that Muslims may be reluctant to be integrated with such detestable persons. (If this had been a novel or sect religion, it had been prohibited in most civilized countries for hate mongering, incitement to war and discrimination, etc. The only reason why the Quran is not prohibited in all civilized countries for such reasons, is that Islam is too strong and that most non-Muslims do not know the book and its very fascistic and hateful message, not to say Nazi-like message of discrimination, apartheid, murder and war.)

023 4/101b: "- - - for the unbelievers are unto you open enemies." Not strange when you attack and rob them frequently enough.

024 4/101c: "- - - for the unbelievers are unto you open enemies." An unmistakable message - no good basis for building trust between religions, or for integration of Muslims in non-Islamic cultures. Hate mongering simply.

025 4/104c: "- - - ye (Muslims*) have hope from Allah, while they (non-Muslims*) have none". Wrong. They had hope in their god/gods. But one of these two parts likely were wrong - perhaps both. Contradicted by the Bible. Also see 67/9c below - a strong one. But of course it is ok for Islam to prove - prove - the Bible wrong and the Quran right. But as we say: Prove, not just loose claims and as loose and invalid words like the Quran always use instead of proofs.

026 5/10c: "- - - Companions of the Hell-fire". = They will go to Hell.

027 5/45e: "- - - they (the ones not using the Quran*) are (no better than) wrongdoers". Sentences like this are quite revealing about what Muhammad wanted - and Islam wants - Muslims to mean about non-Muslims.

018 5/62b: “Evil indeed are the things they (Jews and Christians*) do.” No comments, except that you should detest and hate such people. But see 2/2b above.

029 5/72k: "- - - the Fire will be his (non-Muslim's*) abode". See 3/77b above.

030 5/86e: "- - - they (non-Muslims*) shall be Companions of Hell-fire". See 3/77b.

031 6/12h: "It is they (non-Muslims*) who have lost their souls, that will not believe". As far as Jews and Christians go, this is contradicted by the Bible. There also is a serious question about the Muslims’ souls, as it is clear that the Quran with all its mistakes, etc. is not from any god. Also see 67/9c below - a strong one. But of course it is ok for Islam to prove - prove - the Bible wrong and the Quran right. But as we say: Prove, not just loose claims and as loose and invalid words like the Quran always use instead of proofs.

032 6/24c: "But the (lie) which they (non-Muslims*) invented will leave them in the lurch". This is a typical kind of pep-talk religious - and sometimes political and other - leaders frequently use. "The others will lose and we will win". It works well among believers and often among others with little knowledge (among people with knowledge it only works if it is likely the claim is true - in this case it did not work among f.x. the local Jews who knew something was much wrong with Muhammad's teaching, and thus that thus it was unlikely the claim was correct).

033 6/28d: "- - - they (non-Muslims*) are indeed liars". At least a clear message to Muhammad's followers - if it is true, is another question. Besides it is an ironic message from the only one of the big religions which accepts lies in the religion (f.x. Muhammad was too intelligent not to know he was lying when he claimed miracles would not make people believe - but he needed to explain away the lack of proofs for Allah), and as work tools - f.x. al-Taqiyya (the lawful lie) and Kitman (the lawful half-truth) and worse, etc. - lies can be efficient.

034 6/29-31: Pep-talk to followers: See how badly "they" are going to fare - we are better.

035 6/39b: "Those who rejects Our (Allah's*) Signs are deaf and dumb - - -". The fact that there does not exist one single valid sign which proves Allah, may instead indicate that someone has tried a little cheating and then has been looked through by people with knowledge and/or intelligence - here the opposite of deaf and dumb. But we may remind you that to believe blindly often has the same effect as being deaf and dumb.

###036 6/43b: "- - - their hearts became hardened, and Satan made their (sinful) acts seem alluring to them". This is an interesting sentence, as it is clear that the Quran with all its mistakes is not from a god, but that one of the few real possibilities is that it came from a devil dressed up like the angel Gabriel. A number of immoral and even horrible things seem alluring to Muslims, and one has to have a much hardened heart to be able to do some of the things Muslims have done through the times, and some still do.

As for Gabriel there is a strange fact in the Quran: He is never named in the surahs from Mecca. Not until after he came to Medina did Muhammad start claiming he got his information(?) and messages(?) from Gabriel. If Muhammad really had got - or even only believed he got - the claimed messages from an angel, and even a central one, this had been such a strong argument that there is no chance Muhammad had not told about this - and often - during the first difficult 13 years in Mecca. What is the explanation?

037 6/49c: "- - - them (non-Muslims*) shall punishment touch, for that they ceased not to transgress". Some irony when you know that practically all armed strife was a result of armed aggression from Muhammad. "I hit you, because you hit me afterwards". "You are bad because you defended yourself against our thieving, enslaving, and murder raids". Also see 3/77b above.

###038 6/112b: "- - - (non-Muslims*) inspiring each other with flowery discourses by way of deception." This is a nice piece of pep-talk, explaining-away, and inducement for his followers not to believe what non-Muslims told them. But is it true? ####Besides: Used as slander from "the Religion of Dishonesty" (al-Taqiyya, Kitman, Hilah, lawful deceit, even breaking of oaths (2/224, 3/54, 2/225, 16/91, 66/2)) the claim is a bit ironic.

039 6/113a: "To such (deceit) (see the verse above*) let the hearts of those (non-Muslims*) incline who have no faith in the Hereafter: let them delight in it, and let them earn from it what they may". This verse is one piece of pep-talk.

040 6/116a: "They (non-Muslims*) follow nothing but conjecture." With that many mistakes, etc. in the Quran, it is an open question if also Muslims are following conjectures - - - and if perhaps some of the others are following a real religion (who knows?) In that case; where will all the Muslims who were denied the possibility to search for the truth - about Islam and about other religions - end in a possible next life?

041 6/116a: "They (non-Muslims*) follow nothing but conjecture." With that many mistakes, etc. in the Quran, it is an open question if also Muslims are following conjectures - - - and if perhaps some of the others are following a real religion (who knows?) In that case; where will all the Muslims who were denied the possibility to search for the truth - about Islam and about other religions - end in a possible next life?

042 6/116b: "- - - they (disbelievers*) do nothing but lie". Wrong: Some of them at least points to real errors, etc. in the Quran and hence in Islam.

043 6/116c: "- - - they (disbelievers*) do nothing but lie”. Is it strange that Muslims are reluctant to associate with such people? Muhammad's very negative characteristics of non-Muslims has an effect.

044 6/116d: "- - - they (disbelievers*) do nothing but lie". The irony once more: The only one of the large religions which accepts - even sometimes advices - the use of lies and dishonesty (al-Taqiyya, Kitman, deceit, betrayal, broken words/oaths), is accusing others of lying - - - and as normal for the Quran without proofs behind the claim.

May be worse: Non-Muslims might lie sometimes. But that they did nothing but lie, is an obvious slander and lie - so obvious that there is no chance Muhammad did not know it was a lie. A lie in the Quran - one of a number.

045 6/123: "- - - they (bad non-Muslims*) only plot against their own souls - - -". In propaganda and in slander an opponent always is bad. As for souls, that is a bit vague something in the Quran - vague likely because Muhammad really did not need it, as he claimed the resurrection for the next life is in body (not in soul like in the Bible - one more strong proof for that Yahweh and Allah are not the same god , and Jesus and Muhammad not in the same religion.)

046 6/148h: "Ye (non-Muslims*) follow nothing but conjecture - - -". This may be right or wrong, but a relevant question here is: As the Quran with all its errors, etc. is not from a god - what is then Islam? And what are Muslims following?

047 6/148i: "- - - ye (non-Muslims*) do nothing but lie". This is a demonstration of 6/148c above: Loose claim. But this also is a part of some ones - and not only Muslims' - method of debate: Scolding, etc. Just this accusation in the Quran is a bit ironic, though: The only of the reasonably big religions where dishonesty not only is an accepted, but advised part of religious debates, is Islam (but NB: Only if there is a reason for lying, or if it is necessary to win your point - - - but all the same: How reliable is a religion which relies on lies? - al Taqiyya (the lawful lie), Kitman (the lawful half-truth), even broken words/promises/oaths.)

Worse: At least the claim that they did nothing but lie, is a lie - and such an obvious one, that Muhammad had to know he was lying here.

048 7/177e: "- - - (non-Muslims*) wrong their own souls". Only if the Quran tells the full truth and only the truth about everything. And not if the non-Muslim happens to believe in another god who really exists (if such a god is to be found).

049 7/179d: "- - - they (non-Muslims*) have hearts wherewith they understand not, eyes wherewith they see not, and ears wherewith they hear not". May be the real truth is just the opposite, and that the reason why they do not believe in Muhammad and his Quran, is that they understand that something was and is seriously wrong.

050 7/179e: "- - - nay, they (non-Muslims*) are more misguided: for they are heedless (of the warning)". Who it the most religiously misguided - the one who uses his knowledge and his brain when something obviously is wrong, or the one who blindly goes by a guide-book full of mistakes and not from any god?

051 9/8a: "With (fair words from) their (pagans*) mouths they entice you, but their hearts are averse from you; most of them are rebellious and wicked". A clear message: Do not trust pagans (one of the pieces necessary for producing an "enemy picture" of "the others".)

052 9/8b: “- - - most of them (pagans*) are rebellious and wicked.” Of course - Pagans are not even Jews, nor Christians, who are bad enough. Far below Muslim moral standard - which is much different from "do to others like you want others do to you".

053 9/17e: "- - - in Fire (Hell*) shall they (non-Muslims*) dwell". See 3/77b above".

054 9/125b: "But those in whose hearts are disease - - -". One of Muhammad's many distance and distaste inducing names for non-Muslims.

055 9/127c: "- - - they (non-Muslims*) are a people who understand not". If they do not understand everything, then at least they understand that something is seriously wrong in the Quran and hence with Islam.

056 10/12b: "Thus does the deeds of the transgressors seem fair in their (non-Muslims'*) eyes". Comment to this in (YA1400): "Those without Faith (= non-Muslims*) are selfish - - - (and) - - - They do not see their own faults." Clear distinctions from Muslims - selfish and no good.

One of the many curiosa in this connection is why f.x. slavery abolishment came from Europe and later USA. Another why most of the NGO help organizations originated in the so-called West with few Muslims? Or in more modern times: The Tsunami in Asia - was it the good Muslims or the selfish non-Muslims who did the heavy task and who financed the better part of it? Small Norway (4.9 million inhabitants gave some 210 - 220 million US dollars in the first phase, from mainly Christians to mainly Muslims (except for Sri Lanka most places who asked for large scale help, were Muslim areas). How much did the super rich of the Gulf States give until international opinion forced them to give more? - from Muslims to Muslims. Find your own examples and draw your own conclusion of whether YA are honest when he teaches that Muslims are unselfish and non-Muslims selfish. But of course many Muslims believe such things when they are told so - true or not true. An extra tit-bit which surfaced in Scandinavia in 2010 AD: People doing the foot-work during large actions to collect money for NGO help and relief organizations, divulged when they came to doors with Muslim names, mostly they were given little or nothing.

Well, correct shall be correct: Muslim help and relief organizations, etc. used to help Muslims mainly, but international information tells that in later years they to a larger degree have helped also non-Muslims. There is a long way to go to catch up with non-Muslim help and relief organizations, but at least it is measurably better than before.

057 10/27aa: “- - - those who earned evil - - -". One more of Muhammad's very many negative names for non-Muslims.

058 10/66g: "- - - they (non-Muslims*) do nothing but lie". No comments - except Muhammad knew that even in the Quran he put lies - he f.x. was too intelligent not to know that miracles would give believers. Plus that Islam is the only one of the big religions which to a large degree accepts the use of dishonesty and even broken words/promises/oaths (2/224, 2/225, 16/91, 66/2).

Worse perhaps: He also lied here. Non-Muslims - like Muslims - may lie sometimes, but "they do nothing but lie" simply is a lie.

059 11/21a: "They (non-Muslims*) are the ones who have lost their own souls - - -". The Quran is full of loose claims and as loose statements - and like all the others of any consequence also this one is not documented or in any other way proved. It even may be wildly wrong if Allah does not exist or if he exists, but belongs to the dark forces. And it definitely is wrong if there somewhere is a real god - f.x. Yahweh - who rules the claimed afterlife.

060 15/43b: "- - - Hell is the promised abode for them (non-Muslims*) all!". See 3/77b above.

061 16/27h: "This day, indeed, are the Unbelievers (non-Muslims*) covered with shame and Misery - - -". See 3/77b above.

062 16/86c: "Indeed ye (non-Muslims*) are liars". Some may be liars, some perhaps not - if they happen to believe in an existing god. But what about Muslims? If an ordinary Muslim tells something from the Quran which is wrong, but which he honestly believes is correct - is he a liar? - what if he knows it is wrong, but uses an al-Taqiyya (a lawful lie)? But what if he is a mullah or imam and should have controlled his information before he says anything? - and what about if he is a scholar? (In Sunni Islam where there is no hierarchy of priests, it is the religious scholars who make up the hierarchies, and who are the really educated and powerful ones within the religious community. Remember here that al-Taqiyya and its brothers Kitman and Hilah are lawful (and to defend or forward the religion even advised) in Islam.

But how much is true in a religion permitting (and more) both lies and worse?

063 16/101g: "- - - most of them (non-Muslims*) understand not". Perhaps that was exactly what at least some of them did.

064 16/105c: "- - - (non-Muslims*) forge falsehood - - -". Muhammad claimed Jews and Christians had falsified the Quran to become the Bible - a never documented claim which later is proved wrong both by science and by Islam (by being unable to find any proved falsification). Besides; what if they happen to believe in a real religion (if such one exists) - and especially what if Islam is a made up religion?

Islam's rules for the use of dishonesty - al-Taqiyya, Kitman, Hilah, disused words/promises/oaths, deceit, etc. - make this slander quite an irony.

065 16/105d: "- - - it is they (non-Muslims*) who lie!" They only lie if what they tell is wrong. Just like the Muslims lie if the Quran is wrong. Another thing is that the claim here is that Muhammad claimed the non-Muslims had falsified the Bible (or really a similar copy of the claimed "Mother of the Book" in Heaven), a claim both science and Islam thoroughly has proved is not true = they did not lie.

Islam's rules for the use of dishonesty - al-Taqiyya, Kitman, Hilah, disused words/promises/oaths, deceit, etc. - make this slander quite an irony.

066 16/105e: "It is they who believe not in the Signs of Allah, that forge falsehood: it is they who lie!." Do not trust non-Muslims - they are false and unreliable. Psychologically this is a much used way to make distance between "us" and "them". And sometimes a start on the production of enmity between "us" and "them".

Islam's rules for the use of dishonesty - al-Taqiyya, Kitman, Hilah, disused words/promises/oaths, deceit, etc. - make this slander quite an irony.

067 16/105f: "- - - it is they (non-Muslims - here Jews and Christians most likely*) who lie!" What kind of god accuses people of lying, and then it is later proved they told the truth (see 16/105c above)? - and what kind of god throws around lots of such accusations without even trying to produce proof? Or was it not a god who did it?

Islam's rules for the use of dishonesty - al-Taqiyya, Kitman, Hilah, disused words/promises/oaths, deceit, etc. - make this slander quite an irony.

068 16/109b: “Without doubt, in the Hereafter they (non-Muslims*) will perish.” See 3/77b above.

069 17/97j: "- - - their (non-Muslims'*) abode will be Hell - - -". At least concerning the believers in Yahweh the Bible disagrees. And the Bible also indicates little access to Yahweh's Paradise for Muslims - f.x. their moral rules too often are too immoral compared with "do unto others like you want others do unto you", not to specify the rules for dishonesty, suppression, war, harems, etc. which none of them will pass "the narrow road" of Jesus.

070 17/100a: "If ye (non-Muslims*) had control over the treasures of the Mercy of my (Muhammad's*) Lord (Allah*), behold, ye would keep them back, for fear of spending them - - -". Also these kinds of loose claims are cheap, and many do like Muhammad here; use such ones to slander opponents. It may here be symptomatic that most of the international help or relief NGOs are started in and run from non-Muslim countries (except those working mainly for Muslims). It may be symptomatic that even when the majority of victims from natural catastrophes are Muslims, most of the help often comes from non-Muslim areas - some of the really rich Muslim Gulf states f.x. did not give really big money after the tsunami in 2004 until after considerable international pressure, even though some 80% of the victims were Muslims. It may be symptomatic that it has been reported in newspapers - at least in Scandinavia - that when the big relief/help organizations collect money, the collectors all too often get little or nothing if there is a Muslim name on the door (again; the situation may be different for organizations working mainly among Muslims).

So much for cheap slander.

###071 17/107a: “Say: ‘Whether you believe it or not, it is true that those who were given knowledge beforehand (= Christians and Jews mainly*), when it (the Quran*) is recited to them, fall down on their faces in humble prostration”. One word: Nonsense. Or a stronger word: Propaganda. And what is worse: #####The one who composed this verse knew it was a lie – which also Muhammad knew when he made or recited it. It is one of the places where Muhammad lied in the Quran. A few Jews and Christians are said to have converted by 650-656 AD when the Quran is said to be written, though very few if any in 621 AD when this surah was made, but as a general rule: Utter nonsense. Just look at the history of conflicts between Islam, Jews and Christians, not to mention all the Jews (there were few Christians) in and near Medina who rather became fugitives or were killed, than to accept Islam – f.x. the Qurayza - and no more is necessary to say. You sometimes meet dishonesty like this in new, emerging religions and sects. It is a way of gaining “weight” for their statements, especially when they have few facts or proofs to show for themselves. Just one small fact that disproves this fairy tale: The 700 Jews of the Qurayza tribe - the last big Jewish tribe in Medina - could have saved their lives and possessions by becoming Muslims in time. To a man they chose not to. This verse contradicts solid historical science and knowledge. And one more fact: Remember that Muslims not only are permitted to lie to defend or forward Islam, but are urged to do it "if necessary" (al-Taqiyya and Kitman - the lawful lie and the lawful half-truth - etc.).

Muhammad did not intend this to be slander, but the claim is slanderous against people who choose death or to flee instead of accepting Islam.

072 17/108a: “And they (Jews and Christians when they hear the Quran*) say: ‘Glory to our Lord! Truly has the promise of our Lord been fulfilled!” Made up propaganda. See 17/107a above.

If not before, this became a lie by omission when Muhammad without correcting this claim, later chased away, enslaved, or murdered the entire 3 big Jewish tribes in Medina because they refused Islam and its Quran.

073 17/108c: “And they (Jews and Christians) say: “Glory to our Lord! Truly has the promise of our Lord been fulfilled!” As for the likeliness that this is true, see 17/107a above. But Islam (in this case “The Message of the Quran”) tells that it may refer to all the mentioning of Muhammad in the Bible (of which we have found none that is not just wishful statements which are obviously wrong – see “Muhammad in the Bible?” in, but that it most likely means joy for finally getting the Quran, which Allah had promised and now finally had sent. There is no reference to a promise of something like the Quran in the Bible, and Jews and Christians at all times did reckon the Quran to be so wrong and so distant from the Bible, that it was not even heresy. Verse 107 and 108 simply are fairy tales made up to back up Muhammad - a not unusual technique to use by emerging new sects or religions. It may be based on a few converts at that time, or free fantasy - dishonesty happens when new religions and sects are made. And later.

Messiah - later believed to be Jesus by Christians - is mentioned several times in the Bible, but not anyone who could be Muhammad.

074 18/28e: "- - - one - - - whose case has gone beyond all bounds". Non-Muslims are "beyond any bonds" - do not mingle with them.

###075 19/20c: "How shall I have a son, seeing that no man has touched me, and I am not unchaste?" This is a well known dogma in Christianity. But it is worth noticing this all the same, because some Muslims tell what a "loose" woman running after Roman soldiers Mary was - one way to win points over opponents, is to use slander. But here the Quran confirms that she was a virgin - a woman like Mary would not lie also according to Muhammad. Similar in 3/47b. It also is directly said that she was chaste - a virgin - in 21/91a and in 66/12 Therefore, any Muslim saying Mary was not a virgin, tells that the Quran is wrong at least 4 places.

076 20/87b: "- - - the weight of the ornaments - - -". There is some dishonest Muslim slander connected to this. When the Jews left Egypt, they were given valuables by the locals. Muslims say they must have use dishonest means to get it and cheated the Egyptians (A20/73). This claim is dishonest because it is told in the Bible how it happened, and Muslim scholars who read the Bible to find weak point to use, impossibly can have overlooked it, especially as it was a point of interest for them - the Bible is bigger than the Quran, but it is not that big. The Bible says (2. Mos. 12/35-36): The Israelites did as Moses instructed and asked the Egyptians for articles of silver and gold and clothing. The Lord had made the Egyptians favorably disposed toward the people, and they gave them what they asked for; so they plundered the Egyptians". It thus was not a question of cheating, but of divine action according to this book. But it is easy for Muslims to believe in the cheating Jews (according to Islamic sources it cannot have been too much - YA2607 hints at one or two man-loads.) The real mechanism for the Egyptians' willingness to give, may f.x. have been panic over what had just happened; the unanimous death of all firstborn in Egypt, and a desperate wish to for any price get these people away.

One point we have heard not one Muslim comment on, and not seen one Muslim scholar write about, is if this limited amount of gold and valuables was fair payment for generations of slave work they had been forced to do in Egypt?

077 22/9d: "- - - for him (the debating skeptic*) there is disgrace in this life (at least when Muhammad later came to power*), and on the Day of Judgment We (Allah*) shall make him taste the Penalty of burning (Fire)". See 3/77b above.

078 23/54aa: “- - - their (non-Muslims'*) confused ignorance - - -". Slander.

079 23/67a: "In ignorance - - -". This was one of Muhammad's standard "explanations" for why opponents did not believe in him - and it is a standard "explanation" today. This even when debating with persons knowing much more than they also about the Quran. It is a safe road to flee.

080 23/77c: "- - - lo, they (non-Muslims - here likely the leading tribe in Mecca, the Quraysh*) in despair therein". = Into the severe punishment of Hell.

081 24/12d: "This (charge against Aishah) is an obvious lie". It might have been a lie, but it was not an obvious lie, something Muhammad's own reaction very clearly prove - so clearly that an intelligent person like Muhammad understood he was lying when he used the word "obvious" - and it is not the only time he lies in the Quran. He also was intelligent enough to know that as it far from was an obvious lie, he here was slandering those he talked to.

###082 24/15c: "- - - it (this refers to the hours his child wife Aishah spent alone in the desert with a young man, and the - probably wrong - slander this caused*) was most serious in the sight of Allah". Slander may be a serious, but not a most serious sin - that word you have to reserve for robbery, rape, dishonesty, slave taking, torture, terrorism, murder, mass murder, etc. - and if you are religious; for the gravest sins against the god(s) like f.x. making up competing gods and/or disusing a god/gods for personal gains like riches for keeping or for use (f.x. for bribes), respect and power.

If on the other hand Allah was a made up platform of power for Muhammad and his co-workers, well, then it might have been most serious for him (Muhammad) as it touched Muhammad, at least if there exists a real god somewhere. F.x. if Muhammad started off originally wanted to serve the old Jewish and Christian god he had heard about, but somewhere stumbled out from "the narrow road" of Yahweh and on to "the straight and easy road". #####(This is one of the possible explanations, especially as science tends to think that Muhammad believed in something when he started his mission, but over time became more "relaxed ”and scheming and like so many a leader was morally destroyed by his success and power.

But honestly: What has the family problems of Muhammad to do in a claimed holy book for all times and for the entire world, not to mention: How is it possible for a god to revere texts like this? (Remember that the Quran is an exact copy of "the Mother of the Book" which according to the Quran is revered by Allah and his angels in Heaven.) ###Yes, how is it possible that this episode is described in a "mother book" billions of years before it happened, unless predestination is total, free will exactly zero point zero zero, and we all just are puppet-on-strings? ##########And where is then the justice in rewards and punishments? - or effect of prayers? - or forgiving?

But Allah(?) definitely solved a case for Muhammad here - like in some other cases.

083 24/50e: "Nay, it is they (non-Muslims*) themselves who do wrong." Wrong - at least for a number of them, who saw there were too many mistakes, contradictions, etc., and understood something was wrong with the Quran.

084 25/18e: "- - - they (non-Muslims*) were a people (worthless and) lost". One of Muhammad's many repulsive descriptions of non-Muslims. But there is another aspect of this claim: What about Muslims if Allah is a made up god? - and even more so if there somewhere exists a real god they have been prohibited to look for (such prohibition is a fact in the Quran - logical if Allah f.x. is part of the dark forces).

085 25/22d: "There is a barrier forbidden (to you (sinners*)) altogether". It is likely this somewhat unclear sentence means: "It is forbidden for you to cross into Paradise, because of your sins".

Would an omniscient god addressing also the uneducated and the little intelligent ones, use unclear language?

086 25/34b: "- - - an evil plight (for non-Muslims*) - - -". See 3/77b above.

087 25/44b: “They (non-Muslims*) are only like cattle - nay, they are worse astray in the Path.” Non-Muslims less worth than cattle. Well, we have heard that in some madrasas (Muslim religious schools*) they discuss if non-Muslims have half the value of Muslims or less. It may be true?

088 25/44c: “They (non-Muslims*) are only like cattle - nay, they are worse astray - - -". Who are most similar to cattle - the ones able to think for themselves, or the ones saying to the leader: "We hear and we obey"?

089 26/223: "- - - most of them (non-Muslims/bad people*) are liars". But most non-Muslims do not belong to a religion which accepts dishonesty and worse as an integrated and accepted part of the religion. This claim is quite an ironical one when coming from Muhammad/Islam - the religion which even they themselves seldom call "the Religion of Honesty".

090 28/37b: "- - - certain is it - - -". With so much wrong in the Quran, little is certain without additional proofs.

091 28/50a: "But if they (“infidels”*) hearken not to thee (Muhammad*), know that they only follow their own lusts - - -.” The fact was that many followed their own knowledge - but to use the word "lust" sounded better for Muhammad and his followers naturally.

092 28/61a: “Are (these two) alike? - one to whom We (Allah*) have made a goodly promise (Muslim*) - - - and one (non-Muslim*) who We have given the good things of this life, but who (will go to Hell*)?” Another rhetoric question with an obvious answer enlarging “our” self-esteem and feeling of righteousness. But with an addition: Many religions have a problem with non-believers or believers who are not really good people who have a good life in this world. So also Islam. But the Quran explains this very simple - like some other religions: It is Allah who in his unfathomable wisdom has decided it like that - to try the bad person or for some other reason only Allah understands - but Allah is going to punish him in the next life. A fulfilling explanation that leaves the others' envy half satisfied, and their gloating also half satisfied - and our self esteem at least on par or a little in plus.

You find this argument in variations time and again and again in the Quran.

But is the underlying explanation valid? - that it is for to try persons? Because why does a predestining, omniscient god have to try anyone at all? - and why, if it in reality is Allah who predestines everything one does according to MANY places in the Quran? If he predestines everything, he also predestines what you do during a test. (With full predestination free will for man does not exist - there are immaterial things impossible also for omnipotent gods, In spite of Islam's lame try to explain away the fact that they see this is impossible: "It must be true all the same, because Allah say so in the Quran" (freely quoted after the Swedish "Message of the Quran" - remark A6/141 to verse 6/149)).

093 29/12e: "- - - in fact they (non-Muslims*) are liars!" Not good people - shun them.

094 29/48e: "- - - talkers of vanities - - -". To talk "dirt" about opponents is no new invention - it often works.

095 29/49f: "- - - none but the unjust reject Our (Allah's*) Signs." Wrong. They also are rejected at least by everyone who see that the claimed "signs" are just loose and never proved claims, never proved really to be caused by Allah, and thus without value as indication or proof for Allah or for Muhammad's connection to a god. And they are not "unjust" or "unbelievers", but "knowers".

096 29/52d: "- - - believe in vanities - - -". To slander opponents and their meanings, is an old art.

097 30/29a: "- - - the wrongdoers (merely) follow their own lust - - -". Slandering opponents is no new invention - Muhammad practiced it much (see f.x. all his "names" for non-Muslims - all of them negative or worse).

098 30/29c: "- - - the wrongdoers (non-Muslims at the time of Muhammad*) (are) - - - devoid of knowledge". A nice classification of non-Muslims.

099 30/44b: "Those who reject Faith will suffer from that rejection - - -". Only if the Quran has told the full truth and only the truth about this, and only if Allah in addition exists and is a major god.

100 30/52a: "So, verily (though it definitely is no proved verity/truth*), thou (Muhammad*) canst not make the dead to hear, nor canst thou make the deaf hear the call - - -". The reason why non-Muslims do not believe Muhammad, is that they are dead of deaf. It was better to slander the opponents, than to admit there might be rationale reasons for their disbelief.

101 30/55c: "- - - the transgressors (non-Muslims*) will swear they tarried not (in the grave*) but an hour - - -". Remember this next time you hear about "punishment in the grave" - a phenomenon you meet in the Hadiths (stories about Muhammad and his nearest co-workers). There simply was no time for "punishment in the grave" - Hadiths are wrong here, too, (some Muslims have left the Hadiths, as they are too unreliable they have found).

102 30/55d: "- - - thus were they (non-Muslims*) used to being deluded!" This is a claim. But as the Quran is not from a god, the serious question is: Who are in reality deluded?

103 33/33c: "- - - the former Times of Ignorance - - -". It may be difficult to believe, but this is the Quran's and Islam's official name for the times before Islam. This in spite of the clear fact that many places in the now Islamic area were much better educated and had much more knowledge about many things before they were conquered by Islam, than 1 or 5 or 20 generations later - Islam destroyed many cultures, some of them advanced ones (but as they did not believe in Muhammad and his god, they were "ignorants", living in "the Times of Ignorance".

104 38/2d: "- - - Separatism." Also this is a word Muhammad used to slander non-Muslims - a bit ironic, as separatism from all non-Muslim (except the suppressed ones to a degree) is the official policy of the Quran. It is said many places in different words that a Muslim shall not have contact unnecessary with non-Muslims (one of the reasons why integration of Muslims in other societies is difficult).

105 40/69d: "How are they (non-Muslims*) turned away (from Reality (the Quran*))? - - -". A book full of mistakes, etc. does not represent reality.

106 40/70a: “Those who reject the Book (it is unclear if here is meant "the Mother of the Book" in Heaven, the Quran, or the "not falsified" Bible, like Islam claims – like always without any documentation*) - which We (Allah*) sent - - -“. No omniscient god sent down the Quran – too many mistakes, etc. ( and science has shown that the content of the modern Bible is the same as in the first one – Islam’s claims are just that; claims.)

It is a most open question who is furthest away from the truth – Muslims or (some?) non-Muslims. It is clear from all the mistaken facts, contradictions, and other wrongs, that the Quran is not made by an omniscient god – and the inhumanities in the Quran also proves it is not made by any good or benevolent power (when someone claims and states good things, but demands and does bad ones, the demands and deeds are more reliable for judging his character, than the very cheap words). And if Islam is a made up religion, based on a made up book – what then with all the Muslims who have been denied the possibility to look for a real religion (if such one exists)? – their only hope in case is that also Hell is a fiction.

##107 43/20e: "They (non-Muslims*) do nothing but lie!" A clear statement - but is it true? There are so many claims and statements in the Quran which are not true. Besides it is a peculiar complaint from the religion of al-Taqiyya (the lawful lie), Kitman (the lawful half-truth), "war is deceit" - and everything is war, not to mention "break even your oaths if that gives a better result".

At least clear words for your money about what non-Muslims are worth.

108 46/20a: "- - - the Day the Unbelievers will be placed before the Fire - - -". The Day of Doom.

109 48/22a: "If the Unbelievers should fight you, they would certainly turn their backs - - -" Pep-talk in "the Religion of Peace".

110 49/11b: "- - - after he has believed - - -". The prohibitions for slander etc. in this verse may be valid only for slander against Muslims. But what likely is meant here, is that even if a person was not god before he became a Muslim, you shall not use that against him/her after he/she became a Muslim, if they have become better persons.

111 51/60b: "- - - that Day of theirs (non-Muslims'*) - - -". The Day of Doom.

112 52/47c: "- - - those who do wrong - - -". One of Muhammad's many negative names for non-Muslims.

113 52/47f: "- - - most of them (non-Muslims*) understand not." It is very clear that this often repeated sentence is wrong - it is clear that at least many understood that something was most seriously wrong in Muhammad's new religion.

114 52/47f: "- - - most of them (non-Muslims*) understand not." It is very clear that this often repeated sentence is wrong - it is clear that at least many understood that something was most seriously wrong in Muhammad's new religion.

115 58/18e: "They (non-Muslims*) are but liars". One more of Muhammad’s negative - often strongly negative - names for non-Muslims: Pure liars ("they are but liars").

But it is a clear lie that non-Muslims "are but liars" = all are liars. Many non-Muslims are at least as honest as Muslims - the only one of the big religions which has "lawful" and morally ok dishonesty.

##116 58/19e: "They (non-Muslims*) are the Party of Satan". This is one of the sentences you should remember if/when you meet Muslims claiming that Islam or Muhammad is slandered or worse - it is difficult for them to get sympathy from a judge when they are saying worse things themselves. And few opposers of Islam use as strong words as here. Hate and distaste mongering.

117 58/20a: "Those who resists Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad*) will be among those most humiliated". So whatever you do, do not even think about resisting Muhammad! Allah a is dream god for any dictator - but is he really real? - or is he made to measure for Muhammad? The fact that the Quran is too full of mistaken facts, etc. to be from a god, and also that the god so often was used as a factor in his private life or to intervene for him in the community, may make one think.

118 59/13da: "- - - they (the Jews in Medina*) are men devoid of understanding". Pep talk and slander. (And likely wrong.)

119 59/19c: "- - - the rebellious transgressors - - -". One more case of Muhammad's many distaste - or stronger - inducing names for non-Muslims.

120 60/2a: "If they (non-Muslims*) were to get the better of you, they would behave to you as enemies - - -". This is around 629-630 AD and Muhammad needs an enemy picture of the world outside Islam - then why not produce such an enemy picture? This is one of the many droplets in the Quran used to create it. The truth is that also non-Muslims are humans. Some would be enemies of a war religion as harsh as Islam, but many would be friends, or "teachers" trying to make Muslims see what was and is wrong in the Quran and how this proved that the book was not from a god - - - and most would not care neither this way nor that way, unless they were forced to make up their minds about it.

The outside world, included Mecca, also gladly had left them alone, if it was not because of the never ending raids for stealing, killing and taking prisoners for slaves or extortion made by the Muslims.

121 63/1g: "- - - and Allah beareth witness that the Hypocrites are indeed liars". There never was a proved case of Allah bearing witness for anything at all.

122 68/11: "(A non-Muslim is*) A slanderer, going about without calumnies - - -". See 68/10b and 68/10c above. One of Muhammad’s many negative names for non-Muslims. (Irony: Many of those names, and also many of Muhammad's comments about non-Muslims, are slander.)

123 68/12e: "(Non-Muslims are*) deep in sin - - -". See 68/10b above.

124 68/13b: "(Non-Muslims*) with all that, base-born - - -". See 68/10b above.

125 72/4a: "There are some foolish ones among us (Jinns*), who used to utter extravagant lies against Allah". You had to be foolish not to believe in Muhammad: A never proved argument with a double effect: "All non-Muslims are foolish", and that is the reason why they do not accept Muhammad - the explanation is not that they know or understand things we do not know or are unable to see or understand (which for many was the real reason). And: "We Muslims are the only wise ones", and who does not want to be counted among the wise ones - especially if you are not very wise?

126 72/8c: (A71/6): “And we pried into the secrets of heaven: but found it filled with stern guards and flaming fires (shooting stars*)” The majority of Muslims thinks this refers to jinns trying to spy on Heaven. But then there are the other possible explanations according to Muslims: That it refers to the Jews and their “haughty” belief in security and special treatments because the belief that they were “Yahweh’s chosen people” (why do the Quran – and Muslims – never mention that the real reason for this belief was the fact that they believed they had a covenant with Yahweh? – a covenant mistreated and broken, but never terminated.) Or to the Jews’ special interest for astrology – a special interest not known to anyone but Muslims. This is one more place where multiple meanings may have come into existence more from wishful slander-like thinking, than from real linguistic problems - - - but they are as real as long as Muslims believe in them.

#####127 74/31j: "- - - those in whose heart is a disease - - -". Another place in the Quran Muslims/people looking for hidden meanings in the Quran, are described as "those in whose heart is a disease", as hidden meanings in the Quran only is for Allah to understand. Normally in the Quran this is a name for non-Muslims, but in just this case it may mean Muslims who are doubting Islam and/or hypocrites, as non-Muslims ("Unbelievers") are mentioned separately.

128 77/18a: "- - - men of sin - - -". One of Muhammad's many negative names for non-Muslims. Beware that like normal for Islam, only men are mentioned.

129 77/46a: "(O ye unjust!)". One of Muhammad's many distaste or stronger inducing and repulsing names for non-Muslims. But comparing "do against others like you want others do against you" to the Quran's moral, ethical and judicial code, this claim is very - unintended - ironical.

130 79/37: "- - - such as had transgressed all bonds". One of Muhammad's many distaste - and stronger - inducing names for non-Muslims. Also notice that when Muhammad is telling about biblical stories, he often use this or similar vague expressions - he often clearly does not know what happened - where the Bible tells exactly. Which of these ways of telling a story normally makes best literature?

131 83/14: "- - - the (ill) which they (non-Muslims*) do - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses expressions like this, it is in accordance with its own partly immoral moral code.

132 98/6f: “They (non-Muslims*) are the worst of creatures”. A fitting second last quotation from a verse? But only if the Quran is from a god, and in addition tells all the truth and only the truth.

133 104/1-2: "- - - every scandalmonger and backbiter, who pileth up wealth and layeth it by - - -". In plain words: Every bad person who made good money without helping the poor and Allah's cause = the black picture of the non-Muslims.

134 107/2: "- - - the (man) who repulses the orphan (with harshness) - - -". The non-Muslim. Slander.
