Muhammad in the Quran, Vol. 3: Chapter 53

STEALING/LOOTING, RAPING ETC. - "LAWFUL AND GOOD"

- at least if done in the name of Allah.

To us the sentence in 8/69 "But (now) enjoy what ye took in war (stolen valuables, captives, slaves, rape of girls/women), lawful and good - - -", may be is the most disgusting (at least one of the two worst) and revealing sentences in the entire Quran. Partly because of its underlying moral code, partly because of the 3 words "lawful and good", and partly because it should be done in the name of the god - during and after "holy" wars.

Another aspect of the Quran and of Muslims and Islam - and Muhammad: We have never - never - read or heard one word about the catastrophes and tragedies Islam's aggression or Muslims' behavior and inhumanities have meant for the victims. Not one single time. The tales are about the brave Muslim heroes gaining honor, riches, slaves, and free sex by rape, etc. The terror, tragedies, and horror for non-Muslims count not at all - "Untermench" (Nazi German for "sub-humans") and their pain and sorrow and fate is totally non-interesting for Islam and the Quran. (- though some Muslims sometimes are able to react differently. But also from them we never have heard anything but glorifying when it comes to Muslim history of raids for riches, for slaves or for conquest. Nothing about the may be 200 million killed or murdered. Nothing about the many more slaves or raped children and women's pain. Nothing about the survivors' pain and hardship. Nothing about destroyed cultures. Etc. Only about the glorious Muslim warriors becoming rich and powerful. Well, and about the millions being forced or "hardshipped" into a religion built only on a book so full of errors, contradictions, some lies, invalid logic, etc., that its texts prove the book is not from any god.)

The pain and suffering of non-Muslims were and are of no consequence or interest.

And even if this chapter is very small, it is very central and very essential, because this - not building up, but stealing from others - was Muhammad's economical basis, and not least a strong attraction for warrior to flock to him - believers or pretending believers. Muhammad's and later caliphs' basis of power thus rested mainly on 2 points: The claimed god and the very real permission to steal, rape, extort, and take slaves. Little by little also taxation of the underlings - Muslims and non-Muslims alike, but non-Muslims had to pay more, often much more - came to count a lot economically, but robbing/stealing, slave taking, extortion, etc. was a real part of Islam until far into the 1800s when Europe finally became military strong enough to stop it. Sweden and other countries f.x. had to pay "tax" (extortion) to Islam for to have their ships sailing in the Mediterranean safe from Muslim pirates - and there were millions of slaves taken in Africa through the times. This just to mention 2 points.

xxx 8/69ca: We have met the question: There are certain kinds of men who are the "normal" perpetrators when women - and children - are raped. Self-centered, low on compassion for others for others, and often low quality - from "the rubble". It is the same kind of humans who often are the ones stealing from or robbing others. Now the Quran has favoured this kind of men and behaviour - go to war and suppress and kill, and be paid by stealing and raping - for 1400 years. Can this have influenced the DNA of Arabs and other Muslims? - the ones who rape often and the ones who get more wives and concubines because they are rich (f.x. from stolen valuables), gets more babies. ###### Can this be a little piece of the explanation for the inhumanities we see from Arabs and other Muslims?

This is one of the most disgusting and revealing sentences in the Quran.

######001 8/69a: “ "But (now) enjoy what ye took in war, #######lawful and good - - -”. This is one more of the moral and ethical pinnacles in the Quran: Wage war, and then it is “lawful and good” to steal and rob and plunder - and rape the women and girl children and take slaves. It actually is connected to 8/68a above, but like so often in the Quran specific episodes, etc, is given general meaning.

But of course this made it easy and cheap for Muhammad and his successors to get warriors. That such behavior is a catastrophe for any and all victims - and in some cases set back the civilization may be some hundred(s) years like in Persia/Iran - does not count, as non-Muslim “Untermench” ("sub-humans" in Nazi German) does not count.

This even more so as for fanatics nearly every situation they do not like, can be defined as war against Islam “in the widest meaning of the word” - not to mention that according to Islam’s definition all areas not dominated by Islam are “land of war”. Really a morally and ethical superior religion - compare f.x. to the silly and invalid "Do unto others like you want others do against you", which many religions and culture have as their "constitution". And really a peaceful one.

And honestly the word “good” in ”lawful and good” classifies Muhammad, the Quran and Islam. Laws can be twisted and remade and it is no problem for an absolute dictator to make what laws he wants and thus make things “lawful” – quotation marks used on purpose. But the word “good” is an absolute – flexible “borders”, but fundamentally an absolute. Allah’s/Muhammad’s real rules for behavior against all outsiders is way outside “good”, and the hypocrisy in the using of abrogated verses in the Quran to make outsiders believe something else, makes this aspect of the religion and its hypocrisy even more disgusting.

This quote also tells a lot about the person Muhammad.

########To us this is perhaps the most disgusting and revealing sentence in the entire Quran and the entire Islam.

Also: Combine this quote with Islam's slogans: "Islam is the Religion of Peace" and "Allah is good and benevolent" and weep - or laugh.

002 8/69b: "- - - lawful and good - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses expressions like this, it is in accordance with its own partly immoral code - sometimes very immoral.

#####003 8/69c: "- - - lawful and good - - -". If these words and the context it is taken from ("- - - enjoy what (loot, slaves, and women* + destruction and murder) ye took in war (normally of aggression*), lawful and good - - -", were all you knew about the Quran and Islam, this alone would be enough to remove it from the civilized world and transfer it to the dark, harsh, and inhuman Medieval ages or earlier. This even more so as this is not "abrogated" by today's Islam, but on the contrary are preached and even practiced today (during armed conflicts) in some Islamic parts and groups.

Sub-total Chapter 53 = 3 + 4.777 = 4.780.

A very small, but most central chapter.
