Chapter 87



001 To understand this chapter, you also have to beware of Allah's Plan, which nobody and nothing can change according to the Quran, and Allah's total predestination, which the Quran confirms several places.

002 A: If Allah has a Plan which nobody and nothing can change, like the Quran states, man has no free will. Those two are mutually excluding each, and even for gods maximum one of two mutually excluding claims can be true (no matter what Islam and Muslims like to claim, to save the fairness of Allah).

003 B: If Allah predestines everything you do like the Quran states - several places - you in reality are just a puppet-on-a-string and man has no free will. Also these because they are mutually excluding statements. And also this in spite of what Islam and Muslims claim to save the claimed fairness of Allah - and they do try, even though nothing we have heard or seen is logically valid. But then it is typical for religious people - in all religions - to believe what they want and wish to believe, even in spite of solid logic, solid truth, and solid proofs.

004 Muhammad needed total predestination to be able to tell his followers that to go on raids or wage war was nothing dangerous - you will not die earlier in a battle than in a bed (naive, uneducated - or religious - people may be able to believe such things.) But he also needed free will for man to be able to blame people and individuals for claimed or real punishment from Allah, and for making them strive harder for Paradise, and preferably one of the better places in Paradise. He also needed it to be able to "explain" why people acted differently from what he (or Allah?) wanted, or why people did not believe in Islam. That full predestination and free will for man are impossible to combine, does not matter as long as his followers were/are eager to believe him no matter how impossible his claims were.

005 But if man has no free will, like Allah's unchangeable Plan and total predestination dictates, on what moral grounds can then Allah reward or punish humans? - Islam is unable to answer. (Their "explanation" is that "this must be true even if it is impossible, because it is said in the Quran" - the extreme capitulation of the brain to old dogmatism.)

######## Another - and serious - point is that to "explain" that the Quran means something different from what it really says, is to corrupt it.

Also: What is sure, is that no god ever made a holy book as full of wrong facts, other errors, contradictions, unclear language, etc. like the Quran. #### Besides: Which one of the 20-30 known versions accepted by Islam of the Quran (see 15/9c) - if any (and there were even more versions through the times) - is in case the correct one?

Finally: Always when you read the Quran, Hadiths, and other Islamic books, you should remember that Muhammad accepted the use of and himself used dishonesty in many forms in words and deeds. Even if the names are younger, it was he who institutionalized dishonesty like al-Taqiyya (the lawful lie), Kitman (the lawful half-truth), Hilah (the lawful pretending/circumventing), the use of deceit ("war is deceit" - and "everything" is war), betrayal (f.x. the peace delegation from Khaybar), and even the disuse of oaths (2/225, 5/89, 16/91, 66/2 - and the star case 3/54 (if Allah could cheat, cheating is ok)), which also includes the disuse of words and promises, as they are weaker than oaths = when oaths can be disused, so can words and promises. On top of this it is very clear from the Quran and all other central Islamic books, that Muhammad also liked respect and power and women. Combine these lusts with his acceptance of and personal use of dishonesty - even the gravest kinds: How reliable are that kind of men normally? - and how true and reliable are their never proved claims and tales?

*006 1/1-7b: “In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful, Praise be to Allah - - - Thee do we (Muhammad and Muslims*) worship and thine aid we seek. Show us the strait way - - -“. The Quran starts with a contradiction. All the places where Muhammad quotes Allah starts with the word “Say”. It is not present here, which means that it is Muhammad or Muslims who are praying - as said above; in a book claimed and presumed to have been made by Allah at least before Adam, since also Adam (who in reality never existed as man developed from earlier primates according to science) was introduced to the book, but perhaps have existed since eternity – which means at least since before the universe (see 51/47c) was created some 13.7 billion years ago). And a book which is the revered and unalterable "mother book" in Heaven (13/39, 43/4, 85/21-22) – revered by Allah and his angels in his own “home”. Impossible and a solid internal contradiction.

Muslims try to explain it with that Allah is omniscient and knows everything, and of course knew this, too – that Muhammad would be praying, and included it in the "mother book" at the beginning of time.

The problem only is that this is even theoretically impossible if man has free will – and if man has no free will, then for one thing the Quran is lying, and for another thing: How then explain that all the bad and unjust persons in reality are acting according to Allah's wishes, and how justify that a presumably good and benevolent god forces humans to behave in such ways that they end in Hell?

The combination of that Allah knows everything long before – not to mention that he decides and predestines everything – and free will for man is an absolute impossibility, even for gods. Actually it is a version of “the Time Travel Paradox” and that paradox is long since proved unsolvable. (Islam uses to mysticism to try to "explain" this.)

An easy way to understand this is:

  1. If Allah is omniscient: The moment Allah says: Now I know the future, man can do nothing that changes what Allah knows, because that would make Allah’s knowledge wrong. Man has no free will from that moment (and remember that Allah has decided and knows your life since before you were born, and in this special case much longer - he f.x. according to Hadiths decides your future and whether you are to end in Hell or in Heaven when the fetus which is to become you, is 4 months old = 5 months before you even are born) – . (Actually, because of the laws of chaos and because of the cascading effect of everything which happen and of everything which are done, Allah must have predestined EVERYTHING from the very beginning 13.7 or more million years ago.)
  2. If man has free will: Then it is not possible for Allah to know the future, because a man can always change his mind one more time, after Allah thought that now he knows the future. Then Allah is not omniscient, or at least not fully clairvoyant.
  3. Some Muslims try to explain this away with claiming that man has partly free will - an expression never used in the Quran, and we also never have found an explanation for what it means. But this "explanation" is meaningless, as if a person cannot change his mind about something, then he has no free will in that case, and is just a puppet. Besides as mentioned: The claim that man has free will is never restricted in any way in the Quran. Another point is that because of the laws of chaos and because of the cascading effect of what happens and of what is done, even a tiny wee bit of free will for man would be totally destroying Allah's claimed precognition and predestinations.

Actually Islam admits they are unable to explain this – probably largest – contradiction in the Quran and in Islam. Their solution simply is to say: We cannot understand or explain it, but is has to be true, as Allah says so in the Quran (!!!) We quote from "The Message of the Quran" - a book certified by Al-Azhar Al-Sharif Islamic Research Academy (Al-Azhar in Cairo is one of the 2-3 foremost Islamic universities in the world), (A6/141 - In the English 2008 edition A6/143): "- - - the real relationship between Allah's knowledge of the future (and, therefore, the ineluctability of what is to happen in the future) on the one side, and man's free will, on the other - two propositions which, on the face of it, seem to contradict one another - is beyond man's comprehension; but since both are postulated by Allah (in the Quran - a book full of mistakes*), both must be true".

Mysticism. The ultimate defeat for intelligence and knowledge. And the ultimate victory for blind belief.

But as for this explaining away of how the prayer is taken into in the Quran – a copy of the claimed very old "mother book" - there are only these 5 possible solutions:

  1. Allah was praying to himself in the "mother book". Too ridiculous to discuss.
  2. Muhammad was really praying, but outside the text from the "mother book" and then adding it into the Quran. But how much more of the texts in the Quran is then from outside the "mother book" - just added to it?
  3. It really is from the "mother book", but Allah or Gabriel forgot the essential word "say"– but how many more words are then forgotten in the Quran?
  4. It - the order "Say" - was in the "mother book" and neither Allah nor Gabriel forgot – but Muhammad did. But then – if he forgot something, how much more did he forget which should have been in the Quran? (Hadiths tells that Muhammad sometimes forgot.)
  5. Muhammad or someone made up the Quran or at least this surah, and forgot to pretend it was from Allah.

Pick your choice.

There are similar contradictions - Muhammad speaking - with the claim that it is all from Allah, at least in these verses: 2/286, 6/104, 6/114, 11/2b, 19/36b, 27/91a, 42/10a and 51/50-51a. In addition there as mentioned above, is at least one place where it is clear that angels are speaking (41/30-32) - which makes it impossible that the book can be from eternity, as at least some of the angels had to be created before the book (if not angels could not speak in the book (and as they spoke to humans, the book could not be made before there were humans) - and actually similar goes for Muhammad - he could not speak in the Quran before he was born.

##007 6/107a: “If it had not been Allah’s Plan, they (non-Muslims*) would not have taken false gods - - -” There is a certain class of people who find out where people wants to go, then walks in front of them, telling everyone that they are leading the people. You often find them in politics and in organizations. They make us think of this verse. If only Allah willed - - -! In addition: HOW - H O W!! - can an omniscient and omnipotent god presumed to be a good and benevolent god, damn humans to Hell for taking other gods, when they did so because of his own plans and predestinations???! This point also is incompatible with the Bible.

008 6/111b: “- - - they (non-Muslims*) are not the ones to believe, unless it is Allah’s Plan”. This is even worse than 6/107a above - Allah simply has made it impossible for non-Muslims to become Muslims, if it does not fit him. But still he condemns them to Hell!!! Predestination at its worst - perhaps except when luring people to their death or mutilation in battle.

No comment could possibly explain our point of view or distaste.

009 6/112d: "If thy (Muslims'*) Lord (Allah*) had so planned, they (non-Muslims*) would not have done it (believed in other gods*) - - -". What kind of god is planning so as to send millions and even billions of humans - and jinns - to Hell?!!

###010 6/115e: “- - - none can change His (Allah's*) Words “. Predestination and his Plan. And free will for man? Allah decides everything, and no-body can change anything. (Then why f.x. pray for help or a better future, when everything already is decided and the decisions impossible to change, because nothing can change his Plan?)

011 6/115f: “- - - none can change His (Allah's*) Words “. Perhaps no Muslim can, because that means that something is wrong in the foundation and fundamentals of Islam - they cannot afford to change any word in the Quran for that reason. But f.x. reality and science can show if some - or a lot - of the words in the Quran are wrong. Which they are. And then there is Yahweh - according to the Bible it is Yahweh who has the final say on every point he wants to act on. Also there are changes in the Quran – the differences in the old Qurans, the different “ways of reading” (a camouflaged way to talk about what in reality are varieties of the texts), the abrogated verses and the change in the religion around/after 622 AD – by whom and why? Well, whoever the maker of the Quran is, he is contradicting himself, as he clearly changes it himself when something forces him to – try and fail? Or change his mind about more blood and injustice from 622 AD on? – or because of other problems or things he has learnt?

  1. 2/106: “None of our revelations do We (Allah*) abrogate or cause to be forgotten, But We substitute something better or similar”. Words can be changed.
  2. 16/101: “When We (Allah*) substitute one revelation for another – and Allah knows best what He reveals - - -“. No doubt that he can change his own words, at least – when he did not do things right at once. (These two verses – 2/106 and 16/101 – are the main fundamentals under Islam’s rules for abrogation – making verses invalid when there are contradictions. See separate chapter about abrogation).

(2 contradictions).

012 6/125b: "- - - (in His (Allah's*) Plan - - -". The predestination again. Allah has everything planned, and nothing and nobody can change anything (actually why pray to Allah for help in problems, when nothing can be changed?) And full predestination means no free will for man. In spite of Muhammad's, the Quran's, and Islam's claims to combine full predestination from Allah - like the Quran states several places - with even a snippet of free will for man, is impossible. The two are mutually excluding each other, and maximum one of the two claims can be true. (Islam's "explanation" here is pretty helpless: "Even if it is impossible it has to be true, because the Quran says so".)

013 6/134b: "- - - nor can you frustrate it (Allah's predestination*) (in the least bit)". Nobody and nothing can change Allah's predestination and Plan - nothing and nobody at all. Then where is free will of man, and where is the rationale in praying? - or in forgiving?

014 11/101a: "It was not We (Allah*) who wronged them: they wronged their own souls - - -". Correct if man has free will, wrong if Allah predestines everything like the Quran claims again and again, perhaps if man has partly free will, which some Muslims try to explain away this total contradiction with no possible explanation with (even partly free will also is 100% contradicting many verses in the Quran clearly stating that it is Allah who decides everything).

015 11/123c: "- - - and to Him (Allah*) goeth back every affair (for decision) - - -". = Allah decides everything. We are back to the "fact" of total predestination - "everything" - a "fact" many Muslims denies or tries to explain away, as it means Allah is highly immoral when ha punishes someone for bad deeds he himself has decided they should do.

And remember that with total predestination - "every affair" - there is no space for free will of man, not even a tiny wee bit.

####016 16/35e: YA here has an interesting comment (YA2057: "- - - the limited free will granted to man, which is the whole basis of Ethics". The Quran claims man has free will. As this obviously is wrong, as Allah predestines everything according to many points in the Quran, some Muslims try to save the day by adjusting it to that the book and Allah in reality mean limited free will. The flat reality, though, is that if Allah decides and predestine everything, like the Quran states MANY places, there is nothing left for man to decide. Thus also "limited free will" is an impossibility. Worse: The fact that if Allah decides everything, means there is nothing left for man to decide, is such a simple mathematics, that it is not possible YA and all other learned Muslims do not know it. x - x = 0. There exists no other possible answer. All the same they use this argument - and many simpleminded or uneducated or wishful believers believe it. You meet a little too much of this kind of dishonesty in Islamic literature.

But the really interesting point just here, is that YA clearly states the obvious: If man has no free will, all ethical questions concerning him disappears. What you are forced to do, tells nothing about your ethics. But on the other hand it tells a lot about the ethics of the one who forces you to do it. Not to mention what it tells about the ethics of the one forcing you, if he punishes you for bad things he has forced you to do - or rewards you for good things predestined by himself. Allah predestines everything according to his Plan, according to the Quran. All the same Allah punishes you for the bad deeds he forced you to do to follow his Plan, and rewards you for good things his Plan has forced you to do. What kind of god is this?!!

Thus Islam has two - or actually at least four - problems concerning predestination where the contradictions are so strong, that they are unsolvable even for an omniscient and omnipotent god:

  1. If Allah predestines everything like the Quran states most clearly many places, there is no room for free will of man, not even for "partly free will". x - x = 0 simply, and no other answer is possible. (Also full clairvoyance from Allah would be impossible - with free will man always could change his mind once more.) It also is symptomatic that we no place in Muslim literature have met an explanation for how "partly free will" should be possible. Like so much in Islam, it just is a claim hanging on nothing.
  2. If Allah predestines everything, and you thus just do what he has decided you shall do, how is it then ethically and morally possible to punish you for bad deeds? - and for that case reward you for good deeds? What kind of god is this?!
  3. ##### And the third problem - one Muslims and Islam NEVER mention: If Allah predestines everything, and does so according to his unchangeable Plan, like the Quran states many places - and decides it even years and decades before it is to happen (your death and whether you are to end in Hell or Heaven f.x. are decided 5 months before you are born according to Hadiths) - there is no value in prayers, as prayers like everything else can have no effect on his decisions made according to his Plan which nobody and nothing can change.
  4. ##### The fourth problem may be even worse: In spite of the Quran and in spite of what Islam claims, forgiving is impossible in Islam, because forgiving means to change Allah's predestined Plan, which nobody and nothing can cause, according to many clear statements in the Quran. (Of course you may say that also the forgiving was predestined, but then it no longer is real forgiving, but theatre.)

These are the reasons why you meet Muslims claiming that Allah's predestinations are not real predestinations, without explaining what it then is - and in stark contradiction to many clear statements in the Quran. And why you meet Muslims claiming the impossible - and as so often in Islam without logical explanation for how it is possible - that man has free will or at least partly free will, in spite of the 100% predestination stated frequently in the Quran, "because the claim has to be true because Allah says so in the Quran" - totally overlooking also the fact that there are so many wrong facts and other errors in the Quran, that it is not from any god.

As for the value of prayers in Islam, also see 62/9c. And if you combine 62/9c with 67/9c - a strong one - you get something thought-provoking. (And relevant here: Muslims often are taught that a question or problem which really can have only one valid solutions, can have 2 or more true and correct solutions - Islam is forced to teach this, because if not many of the mistakes and contradictions in the Quran become too obvious. But this ONLY is true if parallel true solutions are possible. F.x. in cases where 2 or more possible solutions are mutually excluding each other, maximum 1 of the mutually excluding ones can be true. Islam teaches differently. It should be a bit thought provoking for Muslims, that just this "small" difference in theoretical thinking and teaching, was one of the reasons (there were several of course) for why Europe and the West exploded into the Technical Revolution, while the Muslim area stagnated). Two star examples are: 1): Full predestination is not possible even for an omnipotent god to combine with even the smallest piece of free will for man - the two are mutually excluding. Islam is teaching differently. 2): The same for full and unchangeable predestination long time before, combined with any claimed effect of prayers - the two are mutually excluding each other. Islam is teaching differently.)

Another fact: Today it is easy by means of statistical methods to check if prayers have any effect. (Let f.x. 1ooo persons each pray for one among 1ooo unknown persons sick or in other ways in need. Compare the result after some time with a similar group of 1ooo who has not been prayed for, and see if there is a difference. If there is a positive difference, this would be a strong indication or perhaps even a proof for something - a proof Islam strongly and dearly needs, as they have not any proof for even a single of its central claims. But it has not even tried to make such a test. Why?)

#####017 42/50e: (A42/52 - English 2008 edition A42/51): "The purport of this passage is a re-affirmation of the fact that whatever happens to man is an outcome of Allah's unfathomable will - - -". The total predestination confirmed once more. Where then is man's claimed free will? - with total predestination it does not exist.

##018 53/32g: "He (Allah*) knows you (persons*) well - - - when you are hidden in your mothers' womb". That is when Allah decides whether you are going to end in Hell or in Paradise according to Hadiths - when you are a 4 months old fetus. How is that possible if you have free will and can decide what good or bad things to do in this life? Remember here that full precognition in spite of the Quran's claims is impossible even for an omniscient god if man has a free will - the man/woman always can change his/her mind once more.
