1000+ Comments on the Quran: Surah 77 -- Al-Mursalat (Those Sent Forth)

Revelation: Medcca, 614 AD

(See general comments on Surahs here: Introduction)

The quotes and comments

001 "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful". Please read the surahs from Medina, the immoral parts of the Muslim moral code, the unjust/immoral parts of sharia, and the Quran's rules for lying, thieving/looting, enslaving, raids and wars, plus the rules for treatment of girls and women - free and captured - and see if you agree. Always when there is a distance between words and corresponding demands and deeds, we personally believe in the demands and deeds. Glorious words are cheap, demands and deeds are reliable. Glorifying words and claims are too cheap for anyone to use and disuse - when you read, judge from realities, not from propaganda.

002 77/1a "By the winds - - -". An oath. Sentences in the Quran starting with "by" normally are oaths - the Quran/Muhammad is swearing by something. Here he seems to be swearing by the wind (!) that verse 7 - "Assuredly, what ye (Muslims*) are promised (by Allah/Muhammad*) must come true" - will come true. Whenever the Quran swears - or in other ways promises - remember that according to the rules for al-Taqiyya (the lawful lie) and Kitman (the lawful half-truth), it is permitted to lie to defend and to forward Islam (and for 6 other topics), and that according to Muhammad's own words and deeds in the Quran, oaths should be broken if that will give a more satisfying result (f. x. 2/225a, 5/89a+b above).

This also is one more clear proof for that Yahweh and Allah is not the same god, and Jesus and Muhammad not in the same line of prophets------------------- like Muhammad liked to claim in his Quran. Allah swears often and oaths are ok according to the Quran. It also is ok to break your oaths - if it is an oath you really have not meant, it does not matter if you break it----------------------- If it was a more serious one it still is ok to break it if that gives a better result for you--------------------------, but you may have to pay expiation for it. Yahweh and Jesus say you should not swear at all (Matt. 5/34), and if you all the same do it, you are obliged to honor it

003 77/1b: (A77/1): “By the (Winds) sent forth one after another - - -.” Or is the meaning in reality: “Consider (or “by”*) these (messages) sent forth in waves - - -“? Islam is guessing amid such clear words. Also see 77/1a just above.

004 77/1c: (YA5864): “By the (Winds) sent forth one after another - - -.” See 77/1a above. But it may also perhaps instead mean: “By the angels sent forth - - -“ or: “By the Messengers sent forth". To say the least of it: When Islam boasts of the very clear language in the Quran, it may seem like they do not know what they are talking about - or are using an al-Taqiyya (a lawful lie - something you only find in Islam of the big religions). And when they further claim that the clear and distinct and not to misunderstand language in the Quran is a proof for that it is made by a god, what then does the reality of hundreds and hundreds of points (at least 500) of so unclear language that Muslim scholars are unable to agree on what it really means, then prove?

005 77/2-4: "(The wind*) which then blow violently in tempestuous Gusts, and scatter (things) far and wide; then separate them one from another". Muslim scholars here are guessing at what this means and refers to. Their proposals depend on which of the alternative meanings in 77/1 (see 77/1b and 77/c above) they guess may me the intended meaning of that verse. Also see our comment to 77/1c just above.

006 77/5: "Then spread abroad a Message". Bring out Islam - but this early (614 AD it is an open question what is meant by "abroad").

007 77/6: "- - - (a Message*) whether of Justification or of Warning". What Muhammad meant with warning, is easy enough: Live according to his teachings. But justification of what? - Muslims' excesses in many - and partly immoral, unjust and unethical - ways? At least it may have been understood like that after Muhammad changed his teaching to a religion of war later (from 622 - 624 AD and onwards).

008 77/7a: "Assuredly - - -". See f.x. 2/2b above.

009 77/7b: "Assuredly, what ye (Muslims*) are promised (by Allah*) - - -". There is nowhere documented that Allah has promised anything at all to anyone - not to mention kept a promise. If there had been even only one such proved case, Islam had TOLD about it.

010 77/7c: "Assuredly, what ye (Muslims*) are promised (by Allah*) must come to pass". Wrong. With all the mistakes, etc. in the Quran, at least this is not assured.

011 77/8: "When the stars become dim - - -". Here indicated the Day of Doom.

012 77/8-11: Indications for the Day of Doom.

013 77/9: “- - - When the heaven is cleft asunder - - -.” The Day of Doom - but how can vacuum be cleft asunder?

014 77/12: "For what Day - - -". The Day of Doom.

015 77/13: "For the Day of sorting out". The Day of Doom.

016 77/14: "- - - the Day of sorting out - - -". The Day of Doom.

017 77/15a: "Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of the Truth". See 3/77b above.

018 77/15b: "- - - that Day - - -". The Day of Doom.

019 77/15c: “- - - Rejecters of Truth (the Quran*) - - -”. One of Muhammad's many distance and detest - and even stronger - inducing names for non-Muslims.

020 77/15d: "- - - Truth". With all its mistakes, etc. the Quran at best is partly true only. Also see 13/1g and 40/75 above.

021 77/16a: "Did We (Allah*) not destroy the men of the old (for their evil)?". The god of "the religion of peace" is a very bloody on, and the Quran claims he killed lots and lots of people and tribes and nations - Yahweh is a teacher in a Sunday school in addition.

022 77/16b: "Did We (Allah*) not destroy the men of the old (for their evil)?". In and around Arabia there were ruins and empty settlements, and there also were tales about old, disappeared tribes. Muhammad claimed they all were killed by Allah because of sins against him. Science has a number of other possible explanations in a warlike, arid area.

A naive curiosum: A short time ago the authorities in Pakistan debated to make some old ruins accessible for tourists. Locals instead proposed to put up placards warning people that such were the result of sinning against Allah(!).

023 77/16c: "- - - (- - - evil) - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses words like this, it is in accordance with its own partly immoral moral code.

024 77/17-18: "so shall We (Allah*) make later (generations) follow them (non-Muslims of the old*). Thus do We deal with men of sin". Allah cannot deal with anybody unless he exists. (But he can deal with people if he exists, even if he should happen to be a devil or something dressed up like a god - the question in that case is how he would deal with them.

025 77/18a: "- - - men of sin - - -". One of Muhammad's many negative names for non-Muslims. Beware that as normal for Islam, only men are mentioned.

026 77/18b: "- - - sin - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses words like this, it is in accordance with its own partly immoral moral code. We also may mention that just this word often covers very different deeds, acts, words, and thoughts in the Quran and Islam, than in more normal religions (Islam is a religion of war - in spite of its loud slogans), not to mention how much its meaning in the Quran often differs from the basic of all human moral; "do against others like you want others do against you". Read the surahs from Medina and weep.

One small remark: As Yahweh's religion and f.x. moral code at many points are totally different from Allah's, you may qualify for Yahweh's Paradise even if Muslims condemn you to Hell - if both exist. One more of the 100% proofs for that Yahweh and Allah are not the same god.

027 77/19a: "Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of the Truth". See 3/77b above.

028 77/19b: "- - - that Day - - -". The Day of Doom.

029 77/19c: “- - - Rejecters of Truth (the Quran*) - - -”. One of Muhammad's many distance and detest - and even stronger - inducing names for non-Muslims.

030 77/19d: "- - - Truth". With all its mistakes, etc. the Quran at best is partly true only. Also see 13/1g and 40/75 above.

031 77/20a: “Have We (Allah*) not created you - - -". See 6/2b and 11/7a above.

032 77/20b: “Have We (Allah*) not created you from a fluid (sperm) - - -?” No. See 6/2b and 75/37 above.

033 77/20-21: “Have We (Allah*) not created you from a fluid (held) despiceable (sperm)? - The (fluid*) which We placed in a place of rest - - -". Muhammad believed the sperm was a kind of seed which could start to grow when "planted" in a woman. He simply did not know about the egg cell and the real procedure. Any - any - god knows. Who made the Quran?

034 77/23a: "- - - for We (Allah*) are the best to determine (things)". Possible - but only if Allah exists and has some power - black or white.

035 77/23b: "- - - for We (Allah*) are the best to determine (things)". Contradicted by the Bible, which claims that Yahweh is best for such things, not Allah. Also see 67/9c above - a strong one. But of course it is ok for Islam to prove - prove - the Bible wrong and the Quran right. But as we say: Prove, not just loose claims and as loose and invalid words like the Quran always use instead of proofs.

036 77/24a: "Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of the Truth". See 3/77b above.

037 77/24b: "- - - that Day - - -". The Day of Doom.

038 77/24c: “- - - Rejecters of Truth (the Quran*) - - -”. One of Muhammad's many distance and detest - and even stronger - inducing names for non-Muslims.

039 77/24d: "- - - Truth". With all its mistakes, etc. the Quran at best is partly true only. Also see 13/1g and 40/75, and 61/4a above.

040 77/25: "Have We (Allah*) not made the Earth - - -". Most likely not. See 11/7a, 21/56c, and 40/75 above. This is one of the many, many places in the Quran where Muhammad pretends that claims are proved facts, and argue accordingly. These kinds of argumentations - and their conclusions - are outside all rules for logical deductions, and totally invalid - which means that also their "conclusions" are totally invalid. No god would need to resort to invalid arguments and invalid logic - it is a hallmark for cheats and deceivers. Then who made the Quran?

041 77/27a: "- - - (Allah*) Made therein mountains standing firm - - - and provided for you water sweet - - -", See 11/7a above.

042 77/27b: - - - (Allah*) provided for you - - -". Everything You consume and everything you have is provided for you by Allah according to the Quran. Your own work or nature or anything - it is of no consequence because it is Allah who provides everything in this life and this world.

043 77/28a: "Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of the Truth". See 3/77b above.

044 77/28b: "- - - that Day - - -"The Day of Doom.

045 77/28c: “- - - Rejecters of Truth (the Quran*) - - -”. See 77/24b above.

046 77/28d: "- - - Truth!". See f.x. 13/1g, 40/75, 77/24c, and 61/4a above.

047 77/29: "- - - what ye (non-Muslims*) used to reject as false - - -". From the very beginning there have been many who saw that something was very wrong with Muhammad's new religion. (Though here is meant Hell).

048 77/30-33: “Depart ye (sinners*) to a Shadow (of smoke ascending) in three columns, (which yields) no shade of coolness, and is of no use against the fierce blaze. Indeed it throws sparks (huge) as Forts - - -.” This is about the trip from the place of Doom to Hell.

049 77/31: "- - - the fierce Blaze". Hell.

050 77/32a: "Indeed - - -". See 2/2b above.

051 77/32b: "- - - sparks (huge) as Forts". At least in a gravity field this is physically impossible. This would demand a serious explosion, not a fire. "Sparks" of this size only is possible in zero gravity - and in zero gravity Hell would not function (f.x. fires dies down because of lack of oxygen, as the heath will not make the air circulate). Any god had known this.

052 77/33: (A77/12): “- - - As if there were (a string of) yellow camels (marching swiftly).” But it is quite unclear what the Arab word “djimalat” really means, though most interpreters believe it means camels. The trouble is that it also can mean a twisted rope or a thick rope, and you get interpretations like this: “- - - like giant fiery ropes.” – or (translated from Swedish): “- - - like it was yellow twisted ropes.” - or even (also translated from Swedish): “(- - - in a continuous stream) like a rope twisted from fire.” A most wonderful clear and distinct language in this book, yes. And these variants also are in the Arab text, as the relevant word(s) there has/have more than one meaning. Allah (?) really uses a clear language. Also see 7/40c+d above - an interesting point.

053 77/34a: "Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of the Truth". See 3/77b above.

054 77/34b: "- - - that Day - - -"The Day of Doom.

055 77/34c: “- - - Rejecters of Truth (the Quran*) - - -”. See 77/24b above.

056 77/34d: "- - - Truth!". See f.x. 13/1g, 40/75, 77/24c, and 61/4a above.

057 77/35: "- - - that Day - - -". The Day of Doom.

058 77/35-38a: “That (the Day of Doom*) will be a Day when they (the sinners*) shall not be able to speak. Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! That will be a Day of Sorting out! We (Allah*) shall gather you together and those before (you)!” If Islam is a made up religion to manipulate people to gain a platform of power for Muhammad, and to gain blindly believing followers, Muhammad used exactly the right psychology – and the psychology used by many a starter of extreme sects or religions: Isolate the prospects as much as possible to hinder too much correcting information and questions, flood them with claimed truths, and use a mixture of honey and the stick – here Heaven and Hell. The old and well tested method for such leaders.

059 77/35-38b: “That (the Day of Doom*) will be a Day when they (the sinners*) shall not be able to speak. Nor will it be open to them to put forth pleas. Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of Truth! That will be a Day of Sorting out! We (Allah*) shall gather you together and those before (you)!” But we are back to the fact that as there are so huge differences between the moral code of Islam and the "gold standard"; "do against others like you want others do against you", and as Yahweh - and Jesus - goes by that standard at least in NT and the New Covenant (f.x. Luke 22/20), a lot of people will qualify for Yahweh's Paradise, even if they qualify for Allah's Hell - and the other way around (a sobering fact if Allah is a made up god).

060 77/36: "Nor will it be open to them (non-Muslims*) to put forth pleas". Not 100% true, as it is possible if Allah permits it, or if Muhammad intervenes (he has permission to put fort pleas even at the Day of Doom - one reason why one had better be friends with him). Though probably none of them (Muslims good enough to get such permission) has enough compassion to do so.

061 77/37a: "- - - that Day - - -"The Day of Doom.

062 77/37b: “- - - Rejecters of Truth (the Quran*) - - -”. See 77/15b above.

063 77/37c: "- - - Truth!". See f. x.13/1g, 40/75, 77/15c, and 61/41 above.

064 77/38a: "- - - a Day of Sorting out - - -". The Day of Doom.

065 77/38b: "We (Allah*) shall gather you (people*) together and those before (you) (at the Day of Doom*)!". This only is possible if Allah exists and is a major god (well, he can gather them together also if he represents the dark forces - just pretending to be a god - but in that case none will end in a paradise).

066 77/39: (YA5882): "The plots against the Prophet were plots against Allah's Truth (wrong - even if a person is killed, it does not change a real truth*), and therefore against Allah”. It hardly is news that Muhammad was more or less identical to Allah on Earth.

067 77/40a: "Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of the Truth". See 3/77b above.

068 77/40b: "- - - that Day - - -"The Day of Doom.

069 77/40c: “- - - Rejecters of Truth (the Quran*) - - -”. See 77/24b above.

070 77/40d: "- - - Truth!". See f.x. 13/1g, 40/75, 77/24c, and 61/4a above.

071 77/41a: This verse is like 76/14-21 above, but without the two extra words.

072 77/41b: "- - - the Righteous - - -". Muslims.

073 77/41c: "- - - Righteous - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses words like this, it is meant in accordance with its own partly immoral moral code.

074 77/41d: "- - - (cool) shades and springs (of water)". The Arab desert dweller's dream of a paradise - far from f.x. the Inuit's or Samoyed's or for that case the North Europeans' or the original inhabitants of Tierra del Fuego's dream about nice sunshine and not too much rain and water. All the "Arabism" makes Allah seem to be a god for desert Arabs mainly.

075 77/41-44: The paradise of the Quran and of Islam modeled after the pore, naive desert dweller's dream about en emperor's luxury once more. See 10/9f above.

076 77/43a: "Eat ye (Muslims in Paradise*) to your heart's content - - -". As said before: The Muslim Paradise is just a luxury version of how poor, ignorant, and naive primitive warriors in a dry land could dream a kings holiday was like. What kind of primitive god could not do better than this? - and it on top of all in reality(!?) only is a man's paradise. (In Scandinavia one could say "a man's paradise in double meaning" because sex not based on love often is called "paring" or "parring" - so "paring" in "paradise" is a paradise for men - - - for a time. (Sex is not named in the Muslim paradise in the Quran, but all the same very central).

077 77/43b: "- - - (righteousness) - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses words like this, it is meant in accordance with its own partly immoral moral code.

078 77/44a: "Thus do We (Allah*) certainly reward the Doers of Good". Once more we are back to the fact that if this may be - may be, not necessarily is - true or not, depends on if Allah exists and is a god of some power, none of which is ever proved.

079 77/44b: "- - - certainly - - -". See 61/4a above.

080 77/44c: "- - - Doers of Good". Beware that when the Quran uses expressions like this, it is in accordance with its own partly immoral moral code.

081 77/45a: "Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of the Truth". See 3/77b above.

082 77/45b: "- - - that Day - - -"The Day of Doom.

083 77/45c: “- - - Rejecters of Truth (the Quran*) - - -”. See 77/15b above.

084 77/45d: "- - - Truth!". See f. x.13/1g, 40/75, 77/15c, and 61/4a above.

085 77/46a: "(O ye unjust!)". One of Muhammad's many distaste or stronger inducing and repulsing names for non-Muslims. But comparing "do against others like you want others do against you" to the Quran's moral, ethical and judicial code, this claim is very - though not intended - ironical.

086 77/46b: "- - - eat ye (non-Muslims*) and enjoy yourself (but) for a little while - - -". The underlying meaning here is partly a claimed warning to non-Muslims (invalid if Allah does not exist), and partly or mainly a pep-talk to his followers: Do not mind if non-Muslims have a good life - they will be punished in the next one.

087 77/46c: "- - - Sinners - - -".

088 77/47a: "Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of the Truth". See 3/77b above.

089 77/47b: "- - - that Day - - -"The Day of Doom.

090 77/47c: “- - - Rejecters of Truth (the Quran*) - - -”. See 77/15b above.

091 77/47d: "- - - Truth!". See f. x.13/1g, 40/75, 77/15c, and 61/4a above.

092 77/48: "And when it is said to them (non-Muslims*), 'Prostrate yourself (for Allah*)!' they do not so". For the very good reason that we do not believe Allah exists - and definitely not as a god.

093 77/49a: "Ah woe, that Day, to the Rejecters of the Truth". See 3/77b above.

094 77/49b: "- - - that Day - - -"The Day of Doom.

095 77/49c: “- - - Rejecters of Truth (the Quran*) - - -”. See 77/15b above.

096 77/49d: "- - - Truth!". See f. x.13/1g, 40/75, 77/15c, and 61/4a above.

097 77/50: "Then what Message, after all, will they believe in?" At least one which possibly can be true, and which possible may come from a real god, and preferably a benevolent one - if such one exists. All the mistakes, contradictions, invalid pieces of logic, etc. in the Quran proves 100% and more that something is seriously wrong with the book, and also at least 110% that it is not from a god - to accuse a god for delivering a quality like in the Quran, is heretics, slander, and an insult against the god. Also the blood and war and suppression and slavery and stealing and lying and in other ways partly immoral moral code and partly immoral/unjust laws in the Quran prove that the book in case represents no good or benevolent god. Whenever there is a difference between reality and rosy words, we believe in the reality. No, it is not possible to believe in a book so full of mistakes like the Quran, delivered by a clearly unreliable man wanting riches (at least for bribes), power and women - not unless the message is backed by proofs, and not one single valid proof exists. Not one for Allah. And not one for Muhammad's connection to a god.
