1000+ Comments on the Quran: Surah 64 -- At-Taghabun (The Mutual Loss and Gain)

Revelation: Year unknown
(See general comments on Surahs here: Introduction)
The quotes and comments
001 "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful". Please read the surahs from Medina, the immoral parts of the Muslim moral code, the unjust/immoral parts of sharia, and the Quran's rules for lying, thieving/looting, enslaving, raids and wars, plus the rules for treatment of girls and women - free and captured - and see if you agree. Always when there is a distance between words and corresponding demands and deeds, we personally believe in the demands and deeds. Glorious words are cheap, demands and deeds are reliable. Glorifying words and claims are too cheap for anyone to use and disuse - when you read, judge from realities, not from propaganda.
002 64/1a: “Whatever is in the heavens (plural and wrong*)and on earth, doth declare the praise and glory of Allah - - -”. No. 62/1a above is cemented. Besides: It is said "whatever", not "whoever" = animism and/or anthropomorphism. (You meet this some places in the Quran. Animism and anthropomorphism you normally meet in primitive religions and in fairy tales.)
003 64/1b: “- - - heavens - - -“. Plural and wrong. See 2/22d.
004 64/1c: "- - - to Him (Allah*) belongs Praises and Glory - - -". See 1/1a and see if you agree.
005 64/1d: "- - - to Him (Allah*) belongs dominion - - -". Often claimed, never proved.
##006 64/1e: (A64/1): "- - - all human beings are endowed with the instinctive ability to perceive the existence of the Creator - - -". This is so stupid a claim that it is not even wrong - it is plain imbecility. It also is totally un-scientific - no scientist has till this day found even traces of such an ability. It is a pure al-Taqiyya (lawful lie - something you only find in Islam of the big religions), likely dictated by the fact that Islam has not one single valid proof for its god (lots and lots of claims, but not one real proof - and the word of a man like Muhammad is not much worth), and they are groping for handholds where they can - if you go looking, you will find a number of such invalid claims about indications for a god in Islamic literature. There is a drive or a need for something strong - a god - in a minor part of humanity (may be 5 - 10% of the population). But no-one - included science and included Islam - have ever found even traces of an ability in man to perceive a god.
Islam has not one single proof for Allah. But they feel the need for one, and use many "clever" ways to try to find something. One recurring claim is this that human instinct can feel/perceive/have knowledge about the god. This is one of the cases.
The only things such wishful thinking proves, is that Muslims feel the need for proofs for their claimed god very strongly - so strongly that they forget to use their brain. And that they have no such proof - if they had, they would use that proof instead of using more or less occultism and wishful dreams for "arguments".
007 64/1f: "- - - He (Allah*) has power over all things". At least he during 1400 years has never one single time unmistakably shown that power.
008 64/2a: “- - - it is He (Allah*) Who has created you - - -”. According to science man was not created, but evolved from an earlier primate. At least man cannot have been created in any of the 13 different ways in which the Quran tells the single person Adam was created - see 6/2 + 38/75 + 55/3 and more. Finally: Islam and the Quran only offers a claim that any religion and any person can make for any god they like, as long as they have to prove nothing. Lose claims without proofs can be the basis for belief - even for strong belief - but they are without value as basis for knowledge as long as they are not proved. This especially is so as it is an extremely serious matter if there really is a god somewhere, and this god is not Allah. If the god is not Allah, and at the same time Muslims have been denied the possibility to search for this possible god, by blind belief forced on them by unproved claims anyone can use free of charge about their imagining god(s) and by glorification of blind belief - well, then they are in for a rude waking up if there is a next life.
009 64/2b: "- - - Unbelievers - - -". Non-Muslims.
010 64/2c: "- - - Believers - - -". Muslims.
011 64/2d: "- - - Allah sees well all that ye do". If he exists and is something supernatural. Also see 2/233h above.
012 64/3a: “He (Allah*) has created heavens (plural and wrong*) and earth in just proportions”. Often claimed, never proved. Besides: Did he just say that what nature had made, were the just proportions? Also see 11/7a above.
013 64/3b: “- - - heavens - - -“. Plural and wrong. See 2/22d.
014 64/3c: "- - - to Him (Allah*) is the final goal (at the Day of Doom*)". Often claimed, never proved - one of the many claims in the Quran any believer in any religion can make on behalf of his/her god(s) free of charge, as long as all requests for proofs can be evaded.
015 64/3d: "- - - to Him (Allah*) is the final goal (at the Day of Doom*)". Contradicted by the Bible, which says that the final goal is to Yahweh, not to Allah. Also see 67/9c below - a strong one. But of course it is ok for Islam to prove - prove - the Bible wrong and the Quran right. But as we say: Prove, not just loose claims and as loose and invalid words like the Quran always use instead of proofs.
016 64/4a: “He (Allah*) knows what is in the heavens (plural and wrong) and on earth - - -”. According to the Quran, he knows only parts of it - too much is wrong. See f.x. 40/75 - and 2/233h above.
017 64/4b: “- - - heavens - - -.” Plural and wrong. See 2/22d.
020 64/5a: "- - - those who rejected Faith - - -". Nobody knows whom are meant here, but then this is likely to have been meant just as a general story about all the bad people and tribes Muhammad claimed Allah had destroyed for their sins through history.
021 64/5b: "- - - Faith - - -". Islam.
022 64/5c: "- - - a grievous Penalty". See 3/77b above.
023 64/5d: (A64/4): "This ('evil results of their conduct') is an allusion to the disasters and the suffering which, as history shows, inevitably befalls on every community or nation bent on rejecting the basic ethical truths and, thus, all standards of morality". A comment which sounds ironic from a religion and a culture which has no ethical philosophy and no moral philosophy (only the question: "What did Muhammad say or do in a similar situation?").
024 64/6a: "- - - there came to them (an unspecified people or tribe*) messengers - - -". Muhammad claimed that to all people and to all times Allah had sent messengers/prophets teaching Islam - Hadiths mention the number 124ooo, and even that number may be too low. Neither science nor Islam has found one single trace from any of them or from Islam, anywhere or any time before 610 AD when Muhammad started his new religion (except the Jewish prophets, and they were from Yahweh, not from Allah - two different gods in spite of Muhammad's claims about the opposite).
025 64/6b: “- - - Clear Signs - - -“. There never was a clear sign for Allah. See 2/39b or 2/99 above.
026 64/6c: "- - - they (a tribe or people*) rejected the (Message) - - -". Muhammad claimed they had rejected Islam, as he claimed Islam had been preached to all people and to all times. Believe it if you are able to.
027 64/6d: "- - - (the Message) - - -". Islam - based on copies of the claimed "Mother Book" in heaven, copies similar to the Quran claimed sent down in the past to all claimed prophets and messengers preaching Islam for Allah in the past. Neither science nor Islam has found a single trace from them. Believe in them if you are able to.
028 64/6e: "- - - Allah is - - - worthy of all praise". Read 1/1a and see if you agree.
029 64/7a: "- - - Unbelievers - - -". One of Muhammad's many negative names for non-Muslim.
**030 64/7b: “The Unbelievers think that they will not be raised up (after this life*)”. Wrong. Islam wants to be a religion for the entire world, and most religions it met and meets have a second life. But what was difficult for the old Arabs - and others - to accept, was that Muhammad told that not only your soul - or something similar - was to be resurrected, but your complete and exact body and mental self, except that you are to be resurrected as a young and good-looking person - there is said nothing about people born with mental or physical handicaps, or babies/children in this connection. (There is one inconsistency, though: 2-3 places the Quran tells that your women in Paradise will be of “suitable age” - f. ex. 78/33. Why? - if everyone will be young and then of roughly the same age?) If bodily resurrection is believable or not, anyone will have to decide for himself or herself.
We should mention, though, that the old Pagan Arabs did not pay much attention to a possible next life. But if that is what Muhammad here meant, that is an Arabism, because this was a rarity except among the Arabs.
031 64/7c: "Say (Muhammad*) - - -". A historical anomaly.
032 64/7d: "Say (Muhammad*): 'Yea, by my Lord (Allah*) - - -". Allah is here asking Muhammad to swear about the resurrection (expressions starting with "by" normally are oaths in the Quran - you swear "by" something). One more proof for that Yahweh and Allah are not the same god - and Jesus and Muhammad not in the same line of prophets (in addition to that Muhammad was no real prophet - he was not able to make prophesies): The Bible tells you not to swear at all (f.x. Matt. 5/34). (And if you for some reason all the same make an oath, you have to keep it, whereas according to the Quran even oaths can be broken - pay expiation if it was a serious one).
033 64/7e: "- - - surely - - -". See 2/2b above.
034 64/7f: "- - - (the truth) - - -". See 13/1g and 40/75 above.
035 64/7g: "And that is easy for Allah". Only if he really exists and has such power.
036 64/8a: “Believe, therefore, in Allah and His Messenger - - -". As For believing: See all the mistakes, contradictions, invalid claims/logic, etc. – not to mention highly immoral laws that are not made by any benevolent god.
037 64/8b: “Believe, therefore, in Allah and His Messenger, and in the Light (the Quran*) - - -”. There is not much light in a book full of mistakes, etc, and with a partly immoral code - a book which on top of all is not from a god with all its errors, etc.
038 64/8c: "- - - Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". Muhammad's standard Mantra for gluing himself to his source of power; his god. Here the mantra is strengthened by the two words in front of it.
039 64/8d: "- - - Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". See 63/5a above.
040 64/8e: "- - - His Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". A historical anomaly.
041 64/8f: “- - - the Light (the Quran*) - - -". There is not much light in a book so full of mistakes, etc., a partly immoral moral code, etc. and not from a god. See 13/1g + 40/75 above.
042 64/8g: "- - - the Light (the Quran*) which We (Allah*) have sent down". No omniscient, benevolent god ever sent down a book of a quality like the Quran.
043 64/8h: "- - - the Light (the Quran*) which We (Allah*) have sent down". The natural thing is to think "the Light" here refers to the Quran. But Islam is not sure: (YA5488) means f.x. it also may refer to the light of reason or the light of conscience, etc. Like Muslims claims: The Quran is written in a clear and concise language easy to understand. Besides: "The light of reason" when demanding people to believe so many wrong facts and so many other errors?!!
044 64/8i: "And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye (people*) do". The old warning: Be a good and obedient Muslim or else - - -. But the threat/promise only is valid if Allah exists and is something supernatural.
045 64/8j: "And Allah is well acquainted with all that ye (people*) do". See 2/233h and 64/4c above.
046 64/9a: "The Day - - -". The Day of Doom.
047 64/9b: "The Day that He (Allah*) assembles you (all) - - -". Contradicted by the Bible, which says this will be done by Yahweh, not by Allah. Also see 67/9c below - a strong one. But of course it is ok for Islam to prove - prove - the Bible wrong and the Quran right. But as we say: Prove, not just loose claims and as loose and invalid words like the Quran always use instead of proofs.
048 64/9c: "- - - a Day of Assembly - - -". The Day of Doom.
049 64/9d: "- - - that (the Day of Doom) will be a Day of mutual loss and gain (among you (people*)) - - -". Only if there is a next life - and the Quran's claims about who in case will lose and who will gain, depends entirely on if Allah exists or not, and if he in case is a god (and not f. x. something dark pretending to be a god, like parts of the Quran may indicate). We may also mention that if it should happen that Yahweh is the real god, very different groups will end in Paradise compared to if Allah should have been the one who decided - f. x. the moral code at many points is utterly different. (one of the many strong proofs for that Yahweh and Allah are not the same god, and for that Jesus and Muhammad are not in the same line of anything of any consequence.)
050 64/9e: "- - - righteousness - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses words like this, it is in accordance with its own partly immoral moral code.
051 64/9f: "- - - He (Allah*) will remove from them (Muslims bound for Paradise*) their ills, and He will admit them to Gardens beneath which rivers flow - - -". If he exists, if he is benevolent, and if he has the power.
052 64/9g: "- - - Gardens beneath which rivers flow - - -". The Quran's and Islam's Paradise - see 10/9f above.
053 64/9h: "- - - beneath which rivers flow - - -". The most frequently used Arabism in the Quran.
054 64/9i: "- - - to Dwell therein forever - - -". Verse 11/108c may indicate that it is not quite forever (and f.x. 6/128c and 11/107b may indicate that also Hell may not be forever, at least not for Muslims. Islam is a little perplexed over theses verses).
055 64/9j: "- - - that (Paradise*) will be a Supreme Achievement". Certainly - if this is not one of the many, many mistakes in the Quran - or one of the sporadic lies in the book.
056 64/10a: "- - - those who reject Faith - - -". One of Muhammad's many negative names for non-Muslims
057 64/10b: "- - - those who - - - treat Our (Allah's*) Signs as falsehood - - -". Another of Muhammad's many negative names for non-Muslims.
058 64/10c: "- - - Faith - - -". Islam - only Islam is reckoned to be faith in the Quran.
059 64/10d: "- - - falsehood (and not falsehood*) - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses words like these, it is in accordance with its own partly immoral moral code and its own partly twisted reality.
060 64/10e: "- - - those who reject Faith - - - will be the companions of the Fire". Often claimed, but never proved. It also only can be correct if Allah exists and in addition is a god - not f. x. something from the dark powers pretending to be a god. For this claim to be correct it also is necessary that the non-Muslims do not believe in another, real god, f. x. Yahweh - a god who according to both the Bible and the Quran has proved both his existence and his power (though the Quran wrongly mixes him with Yahweh). Allah on the other hand has never been able to prove anything about himself.
061 64/10f: “- - - Our (Allah’s) Signs - - -.” Invalid as proof for Allah. See 2/39 above.
062 64/10g: "- - - Companions of the Fire - - -". People bound to end Hell.
063 64/10h: "- - - the Fire - - -". Hell.
064 64/10i: "- - - to dwell therein (Hell*) for aye - - -". But 6/128c, 11/107b, 43/74c, 51/13c, and 78/23 all indicate that may be Hell is not quite forever - at least not for Muslims. (And 11/108c indicates the same for Paradise). Islam is not quite happy over these verses, at least not about 11/108c.
065 64/11a: "No kind of calamity can occur, except by the leave of Allah - - -". Allah decides and predestines everything.
066 64/11b (A64/9): “- - - if anyone believes in Allah, (Allah) guides his heart (aright) - - -.” Or perhaps something like “- - - the belief in the heart of the believer, steers him towards Allah - - -.” Both are possible from the unclear Arab "clear" text.
067 64/11c: "- - - (Allah) guides - - -". If he guides according to the Quran, he is no good guide - too much is wrong and parts of the moral code is horrible (compare it to "do to others like you want others do to you" and weep - or laugh at Islam's claim of being the pinnacle of good moral.
068 64/11d: "- - - for Allah knows everything". The ever recurring question: If he knows everything, why - why - then does he have to test his followers, f. ex. in war? There exists no logic in it - - - not unless the claims about test in reality is Muhammad's excuse and explaining away his own need for warriors for raids and wars for riches (for attracting more followers like explained in the Quran) and power.
069 64/12a: "So obey Allah, and obey his Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". A strengthened version of Muhammad's mantra to glue himself to supreme power. But a very nice slogan for Muhammad, as here on Earth, to obey Allah was identical to obeying Muhammad - and the other way around.
070 64/12b: "- - - his (Allah's*) Messenger - - -". Something is wrong. See 63/5a above.
071 64/12c: "- - - his (Allah's*) Messenger - - -". A historical anomaly.
072 64/12d: "- - - the duty of Our (Allah's*) Messenger (Muhammad*) is but to proclaim (the Message) clearly and openly". You bet that this verse was abrogated and killed when he - and his successors - became military strong enough to force Islam on the "infidels"!!! - especially on the pagans, but there also are many ugly stories of treatment of Jews and Christians - "Let there be no compulsion in religion" also is an abrogated verse, except in al-Taqiyya-dominated propaganda (well, some of the lay Muslims may perhaps honestly believe it, but not one single Muslim scholar - among them the verses which abrogate this one - 2/256 - are too well known (f. x. 9/5, but there are some 30 different verses which each and every of them abrogate 2/256 - all the same all Muslims use it as a flagship for how tolerant Islam is).
073 64/12e: "- - - (the Message (the Quran*)) - - -". But is the Quran really a message? And in case from whom, as a book so full of errors is from no god.
074 64/13a: "There is no god but He (Allah*) - - -". Even if we omit all other claimed gods, we are back to the problem with Yahweh, as it is clear the Islamic claim that the two are the same god, is wrong. Proved A disturbing fact here: Allah has never proved neither his power, nor his existence anywhere. But if either the Quran or the Bible tells the truth, Yahweh has proved both several times. Thought provoking? Yes, especially if Allah is a made up god. Also see 2/255a and 25/18a above.
075 64/13b: "There is no god but He (Allah*) - - -". Clearly contradicted by the Bible, which says the only god is Yahweh, not Allah. Also see 67/9c below - a strong one. But of course it is ok for Islam to prove - prove - the Bible wrong and the Quran right. But as we say: Prove, not just loose claims and as loose and invalid words like the Quran always use instead of proofs.
076 64/13c: "- - - on Allah - - - let the Believers put their trust". A good idea if Allah exists and is a benevolent god. A bad idea if he exists, but is something dark pretending to be a god - the blood, the belief in dishonesty, parts of the moral, ethical and judicial codes may indicate this. And also a bad idea if Allah is a made up god.
077 64/13d: "- - - Believers - - -". Muslims.
078 64/14a: "- - - ye who believe - - -". Muslims.
079 64/14b: "Truly - - -". See f. x. 2/2b and 61/4a above.
080 64/14c: "- - - verily - - -". See f. x. 2/2b and 61/4a above.
081 64/14d: "- - - Allah is Oft-Forgiving - - -". Allah can forgive exactly nobody unless he exists and is a god.
082 64/14e: "- - - Allah is - - - Most Merciful". Please read the surahs from Medina, the immoral parts of the Muslim moral code, and the unjust/immoral parts of sharia, and see if you agree. Always when there is a distance between words and corresponding demands and deeds, we at least always believe in the demands and deeds - words are too cheap to use and disuse.
083 64/15a: "Your riches and your children (children are the second kind of riches in Islam, therefore so many children*) may be but a trial - - -". But why does the omniscient god Allah, who the Quran time and again and again claims knows everything, need to try his followers? - where is the logic? - - - if it is not Muhammad who wanted warriors and needed "explanations"? - in that case everything fits neatly.
084 64/15b: "- - - in the Presence of Allah, is the highest Reward". This may be right if Allah exists and is a benevolent god. It is wrong if Allah exists, but is something dark pretending to be a god - many points in the Quran may indicate this. And it is wrong if Allah does not exist - lots of points in the Quran may indicate this as they make it clear that the Quran is not from a god. Not to forget how wrong it is if Allah does not exist, but there somewhere is a real god Muslims have been prohibited to look for (and the pinnacle will be if that prohibition is placed there by a religion made up by dark forces).
085 64/15c: "- - - the highest Reward". The Quran's and Islam's paradise. See 10/9f above.
##086 64/16a: "- - - fear Allah - - -". Why? - unless he exists and is something supernatural? Nothing of which has ever been proved. Not one single time has Allah manifested himself or done anything which clearly is his work. There only is the tales of a man with provable (in f.x. the Quran) dubious moral, a man who provably (f.x. in the Quran) believed in the use of dishonesty and even broken oaths, a man who liked (easy to see f.x. in the Quran) power, riches for more power, and women, and a man who used (easy to see f.x. in the Quran) his god and religion as his platform of power - like many a self proclaimed "prophet" have done throughout the times, and do even today.
087 64/16b: "- - - listen and obey - - -" - the duty of any Muslim. And whom to obey on this Earth? - Muhammad (and his successors) of course.
088 64/16c: "- - - and spend in charity for the benefit of your own soul". The stress the Quran puts on charity is one of the positive aspects with Islam. But beware that there are at least two essential differences between NT and the Quran here:
The Quran tells you to help others to gain merit in Heaven. NT tells you to help others because it is the right thing to do, because they need help, and to gain merit in Heaven.
The Quran tells you get the same merit from helping your wife or other close to you, as when you help strangers - then why help strangers and distant acquaintances? In Christianity to help your nearest ones is a matter of course and more or less a duty, and only helping others gives any amount of merit "up there".
089 64/16d: "- - - they (good Muslims*) are the ones that achieve prosperity". If the Quran tells the full truth and only the truth - and with no mistakes.
090 64/17a: “If you loan to Allah, a beautiful loan - - -". In the Quran this expression normally incites you to fight in raids/war for Allah/Muhammad and risk your life for him/them.
091 64/17b: “If you loan to Allah, a beautiful loan, He will double it to your (credit), and he will grant you Forgiveness - - -“. Very similar thinking to the worst medieval excesses made by the Roman Catholic Church once upon a time. But good slogans for recruiting warriors – and money.
There is a lot more like this - much of it just with other words. Add this to all the other pep talk for warriors in the Quran, and you get something that should never be forgotten - not even by USA.
And of course there is the problem of never knowing who the few are who will turn terrorists, and the not few who are willing to help them - with money at least. The 5. column. Some 30% of Muslims at least have sympathy for or “understands why” terrorists are at work, international polls show - more and much more in some places.
And all the same: Never forget that the majority of Muslims absolutely do not want anything but peace and a quiet family life. The ideology of hate and war and suppression is detestable, but not so all the ones of them who are normal people.
It is too late to keep Islam at a distance - too many have emigrated to the west. The absolute majority have moved vest for economical reasons, but for Muslims to move into “enemy” territory and then later to try to take control, is a strategy of war frequently advocated in the Quran. That f. x. was what happened in Indonesia. Besides a scattered few may move west because of or partly because of that ideology - but then it only takes a few to wreak havoc. May be one should not make the problem bigger until we see how the ones already here will develop - how the integration and the culture will develop. Though Paris and other places may be sinister warnings.
092 64/17c: “If you loan to Allah, a beautiful loan, He will double it to your (credit), and he will grant you Forgiveness - - -“. Strongly contradicted by the Bible - one of the at least 200% proofs for that Yahweh and Allah are not the same god - and Jesus and Muhammad not even in the same world morally speaking. Also see 67/9c below - a strong one. But of course it is ok for Islam to prove - prove - the Bible wrong and the Quran right. But as we say: Prove, not just loose claims and as loose and invalid words like the Quran always use instead of proofs.
093 64/17d: "- - - He will grant you (Muslims*) Forgiveness - - -". There only are two who can forgive: The victim and a god. Is Allah a god - - - if he exists?
094 64/17e: "- - - Allah is Most Ready to appreciate (service)". Once more: Only if he exists and is something supernatural - white or dark.
095 64/17f: "- - - Allah is - - - Most Forbearing - - -". One of the oh so many not proved claims in the Quran.
096 64/18a: "(Allah is) Knower - - -". Not if the Quran is representative for his knowledge.
097 64/18b: "(Allah is) Knower of what is hidden and what is open - - -". See f.x. 2/233h and 64/11d above.
098 64/18c: "(Allah is) exalted in Might - - -" - - - which he in case has never unmistakably shown in 1400 years.
099 64/18d: "(Allah is) Full of Wisdom". Wrong if he made the Quran.
