1000+ Comments on the Quran: Surah 57 -- AL-HADID (The Iron)

Revelation: Medina, 630 - 632 AD.

(See general comments on Surahs here: Introduction)

The quotes and comments

001 "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful". Please read the surahs from Medina, the immoral parts of the Muslim moral code, the unjust/immoral parts of sharia, and the Quran's rules for lying, thieving/looting, enslaving, raids and wars, plus the rules for treatment of girls and women - free and captured - and see if you agree. Always when there is a distance between words and corresponding demands and deeds, we personally believe in the demands and deeds. Glorious words are cheap, demands and deeds are reliable. Glorifying words and claims are too cheap for anyone to use and disuse - when you read, judge from realities, not from propaganda.

001 57/1a: “- - - heavens - - -.” Plural and wrong. See 2/22d.

002 57/1b: "- - - declare the Praises - - - of Allah - - -". Please see 1/1a above and see if you think he deserves it - if he exists.

003 57/1c: "- - - the - - - Glory of Allah - - -". Look at 1/1a once more - is he really glorious? Then read the acts and deeds and demands and moral codes, etc. in the Quran - read the realities, not the glorifying words - and see if he really is glorious - as said; if he exists.

004 57/1d: "- - - He (Allah*) is the Exalted in Might - - -". He in case never has proved that might.

005 57/1e: “- - - He (Allah*) is - - - the Wise.” Not according to all the mistakes, etc. in the Quran.

006 57/2a: "To Him (Allah*) belongs the dominion of the heavens (plural and wrong*) and the earth - - -". A frequently repeated claim in the Quran - and by a lot of gods all over the world - but never proved anywhere in Islam.

007 57/2b: "To Him (Allah*) belongs the dominion of the heavens (plural and wrong*) and the earth - - -". Contradicted by the Bible, which says this belongs to Yahweh, not to Allah. But of course it is ok for Islam to prove - prove - the Bible wrong and the Quran right. But as we say: Prove, not just loose claims and as loose and invalid words like the Quran always use instead of proofs.

008 57/2c: “- - - heavens - - -.” Plural and wrong. See 2/22d.

009 57/2d: "- - - it is He (Allah*) Who gives life and Death - - -". An interesting claim, as Allah and Muhammad and Islam never were able to prove this - it only is loose words - whereas if the Bible and/or the Quran tells the truth on this point, Yahweh have proved it many times (f.x. Matt.9/18-25, Luke 7/12-15, John 11/39-43 - and of course Jesus himself - and there are more, included in the Quran).

010 57/2e: "- - - He (Allah*) has Power over all things". He in case never in 1400 years one single time clearly has shown that power.

011 57/3a: "He (Allah*) is the First and the Last - - -". Claims of similar contents - that Allah is the one and supreme god - you find many places in the Quran. It is one of the many never proved claims Muhammad put forth.

012 57/3b: "He (Allah*) is the First and the Last - - -". Contradicted by the Bible, which says Yahweh is the top ruler, not Allah. Also see 67/9c below - a strong one. But of course it is ok for Islam to prove - prove - the Bible wrong and the Quran right. But as we say: Prove, not just loose claims and as loose and invalid words like the Quran always use instead of proofs.

013 57/3c: "The Evident and the Hidden" - (YA5276): "Allah is Evident insofar as there is ample evidence of His existence and providence all around us (= in nature*)". To repeat what evidence - a proof - is: "A proof is one or more proved facts which can give only one conclusion". Thus for nature to be a proof for Allah one first must prove that things are made or done by a god, and then that this god is Allah. None of these two are proved, and thus these claimed proofs for Allah are invalid. Any god had known this. If there exists one single proof - real proof, not a claim - then let any Muslim bring it to us - - but if it had existed, Islam had repeated it several times a day.

Wrong: Allah is not the evident one, as there exists no valid evidence for him.

014 57/3d: “- - - He (Allah*) has full knowledge of all things”. Not if he had anything to do with the Quran - see 40/75 and other places.

015 57/3e: "- - - knowledge - - -". See 26/83b above.

*016 57/4a: "He (Allah*) it is who created the heavens (plural and wrong) and the earth - - -”. Often claimed, never proved.

017 57/4b: “He (Allah*) it is who created the heavens (plural and wrong) and the earth in six days - - -”. It is not possible to doubt that Muhammad/the Quran means that it all took 6 days 8 days (contradiction). Wrong. It in reality took billions of years.

018 57/4c: “- - - heavens - - -.” Plural and wrong. See 2/22d.

019 57/4d: “He (Allah*) is it Who created the heavens (plural and wrong*) and the earth in Six Days”. Contradicted by:

00a 41/9-12 that tell that the job took 2 + 4 + 2 = 8 days. (Muslims tries to explain this away with that the 2 first days were included in the 4 ones. But read 41/9 yourself – it clearly state that this part of the job took 2 days, this part 4 days, and the rest 2 days.) And reality says billions of years.

020 57/4e: "- - - (Allah*) is firmly established on the Throne (of authority) - - -". Similar often claimed in the Quran, but never proved anywhere - and for what it is worth contradicted by the Bible, which says that throne belongs to Yahweh, not to Allah. Also see 67/9c below - a strong one. But of course it is ok for Islam to prove - prove - the Bible wrong and the Quran right. But as we say: Prove, not just loose claims and as loose and invalid words like the Quran always use instead of proofs.

021 57/4f: "He (Allah*) knows what enters the earth and what comes out of it, what comes down from heaven and what mounts up to it". According to Muslim scholars, here is meant absolutely everything - included water, gases, worms and everything. But we are back to the old and sorry fact in Islam: There are only words and claims, and both are very cheap - not a thing of any consequence is proved in Islam everything only is based on the words of a man of doubtful moral character, and with a lot to gain from people believing in and spreading his religion.

022 57/4g: "And He (Allah*) is with you (Muslims*) wheresoever you may be." A soothing sentence if you are a good and obedient Muslim, a sobering sentence for the not good ones - - - and an untrue sentence if Allah does not exist or is not a major god. (Not to mention what it is if he belongs to the dark forces.)

023 57/4h: "And Allah sees well all that ye do". The standard warning: Be a good and obedient Muslim, because Allah sees everything - true or not, the warning has an effect if people believe in it. And no matter if the religion is made up or not, it was a convenient effect for Muhammad - and for his successors.

024 57/5a: "To Him (Allah*) belongs the dominion of the heavens (plural and wrong*) and the earth - - -". A claim often repeated in the Quran, but never proved - just like normal for f.x. pagan religions.

025 57/5b: “- - - heavens - - -.” Plural and wrong. See 2/22d.

026 57/5c: "- - - all affairs are referred back to Him (Allah*)". = In the end of all cases it in reality is Allah who decides everything - the in the Quran well known predestination; everything have to be run by "Allah's Plan" which nothing and nobody can change.

*027 57/6a: “He (Allah*) merges Night into Day, and Day into Night - - -”. Wrong. It is the sun and the revolving of the Earth which do this - any god knew it, but Muhammad not. Then who made the Quran? If Islam still says Allah does it - or made the natural laws behind it - they will have to bring proof - - -but proofs, and not just words or statements any priest can use for any god, as statements and words are very cheap.

029 57/6c: "- - - knowledge - - -". See 26/83a above.

030 57/7a: "Believe in Allah and his Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". A strengthened version of Muhammad's standard mantra for gluing himself to his god - his platform of power.

031 57/7b: "Believe in Allah and his Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". Why should any sentient being do so when so much is wrong - and even some lies - in their message, the Quran?

032 57/7c: "- - - Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". See 63/5a below.

**033 57/7d: "- - - spend in charity - - -". One of the plusses for the Quran, is its insistence on charity. But there are the two dark spots which partly destroy the moral value of it: For one thing the main point is not to help others, but to gain merit in heaven, and the other is that you gain just as much merit from helping your nearest, as from helping strangers, and then strangers easily end up far down on the priority list. (In f.x. Christianity to help your nearest is a duty, and only help to those a little off or far off is charity - and the main point is to help, though merit in heaven will be the side result tor the religious ones.)

034 57/7e: "- - - whereof He (Allah*) made you (Muslims/people*) heirs". Everything

035 57/7f: "- - - a great Reward." Paradise. True if the Quran is from a god, a bluff if not - but in both cases a very cheap promise for Muhammad in this world, as it is not necessary to honor it until in the claimed next life. Extra cheap for Muhammad if it was he himself or a helper (there were rumors about that - even a name mentioned) who made the Quran.

036 57/8a: "What cause have ye (non-Muslims*) why ye should not believe in Allah?". Well to mention a few of the reasons:

Not one single claim is proved in Islam - not even the existence of the claimed god, the former pagan god al-Lah.

All the mistaken facts and other mistakes prove 110% and more that the Quran is not from any god - no omniscient god makes such mistakes (which is why Muslims cannot afford to see the mistakes no matter how obvious they are).

All the contradictions have the same 110% effect.

All the invalid logic also has the same 110% effect - so only on these 3 points you have 330% proofs that the Quran is not from a god.

The language many places are unclear or with 2 or more possible ways of understanding a point. No god would use unclear language in his holy book.

A lot of points in the book were difficult or impossible to understand from people not from that region - Arabisms. No universal god would make his holy book in ways not possible for all to understand unless they were known in a small region of Earth. Humans might make such mistakes, but not an omniscient god.

The horrible and immoral parts of the Quran's moral code may indicate that the real maker of the Quran belongs to some dark forces. Who wants to believe in a religion perhaps made up by f.x. a devil impersonating Gabriel?

The immoral and unethical parts of the ethical code, means a not good and benevolent god.

The parts of sharia which are unjust and/or immoral gives the same thoughts as the sentence above.

The Quran contains not a few cases of boasting or bluffs. Who needs to use bluffs? - the cheat and deceiver, not an omnipotent god.

The Quran contains some places where Muhammad is lying. How true is a religion which needs lies? And who needs to use lies? - the cheat and deceiver.

All the points in the Quran where it is used wrong science - science believed in at the time of Muhammad - indicates very clearly that the Quran is made by humans living at the time of Muhammad - perhaps by Muhammad himself.

Islam is a war religion - the claim "the religion of peace" is an al-Taqiyya (a lawful lie) - and who believes a "good and benevolent" god runs a religion of dishonesty, stealing, apartheid, rape, suppression, and war?

The Quran is entirely based on the words of a man with a very doubtful moral - lying, breaking even his oaths, deceiving, stealing, raping, and a lot more - and a man wanting power and riches (for "gifts" to buy more followers and to keep some of the ones he had - clear from central Islamic books) - and not to mention women (one knows the name of 36 women he had more or less regular sex with (see the chapters about Muhammad under www.1000mistakes.com - and those are the ones one knows the names of).

Well, these at least were a few reasons why not to believe in Allah and in Muhammad's religion - at least not until something is proved.

037 57/8b: "- - - the Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". Another version of Muhammad's mantras to glue himself to his platform of power Allah.

038 57/8c: "- - - the Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". See 63/5a below.

039 57/8d: "- - - the Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". A historical anomaly.

040 57/8e: "- - - the Messenger (Muhammad*) has indeed taken your (persons') Covenant, if ye are men of Faith." Some Boers in South Africa once made a covenant with Yahweh - without checking that Yahweh accepted the covenant. As for covenants with Allah, there is not even a proof for the existence of Allah, or for that he is a god - not to mention for that he has accepted any covenant.

041 57/8f: (YA5283): “- - - your Covenant - - -“. Does this refer to the covenant that is the result of accepting Islam? – or to one of the covenants mentioned in the Bible or indicated other places in the Quran?

042 57/8g: "- - - men of Faith". = Muslims. Remark the Quran her like so often only mentions men - Islam is a man's religion. Women counts little and has a low standard and limited interest as members of the society for the Quran (Muhammad).

043 57/8h: "- - - Faith - - -". Islam - only Islam is faith in the Quran.

044 57/9a: "He (Allah*) is the One who sends to His Servant manifest Signs - - -". No god has sent so much wrong as one finds in the Quran.

045 57/9b: "- - - His (Allah's*) Servant (here Muhammad*) - - -". No man claiming to bring from his god texts with so many mistakes, etc., is the real servant of an omniscient god.

046 57/9c: "- - - His (Allah's*) Servant (Muhammad*) - - -". Another of Muhammad's mantras to glue himself to Allah - his platform of power.

047 57/9d: "- - - His (Allah's*) Servant (Muhammad*) - - -". A historical anomaly.

048 57/9e: "- - - manifest - - -". See 2/2b above.

050 57/9g: "- - - He (Allah*) may lead you (by means of the Quran*) from the depths of Darkness into the light". No book with so much wrong and with such a large part of its moral code immoral and brutal, can lead anyone into real light - especially as f.x. all the mistakes proves that the texts are not from any god.

051 57/9h: "- - - verily - - -". See 2/2b above.

052 57/9i: "- - - Allah is to you Most Kind and Merciful". When nice words conflict with reality, we always believe in reality - and hiding reality behind nice words is one of the trade marks for cheats, deceivers, and swindlers. See f.x 1/1a above.

##053 57/10a: “And what cause have ye why ye should not spend in the cause of Allah? - For to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens (plural and wrong*) and the earth.” Scattered many places in the Medina (and the Mecca) part of the Quran you will find incitements to giving money or spending resources for Muhammad and the faith. Some places it simply may mean spending for charity to the poor. But often it refers to spending for war (in this verse there is little doubt that this is what is meant, as this is a verse glorifying war, this even more so as just this expression - "spend in the cause of Allah" - normally refers to spending for raids and war). Also - and especially when Muhammad talks about “giving a nice gift to Allah”, “a beautiful loan” or something similar, it means that you/the Muslims should give their lives for Allah “and his Messenger” (if the Quran is made up, the “gift” is just for Muhammad) and be repaid in the next life - cheap for Muhammad and later Muslim leaders at least, especially if the religion is a made up one, like all the mistakes, contradictions, etc. may indicate.

We have skipped many of these verses. But thinking it over they are verses meaning much for Muslims' giving of money to among others terrorists and terrorist organizations. May be we will include some more of those verses if this is ever revised. But remember that there exist a number of sentences like this in the Quran - also economy counts for a leader trying to gain more political or military power.

054 57/10b: "For to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens (plural and wrong) and the earth". Often claimed, never proved. Claims like this one are cheap as long as you do not have to prove anything.

055 57/10c: "For to Allah belongs the heritage of the heavens (plural and wrong) and the earth". Contradicted by the Bible, which claims it belongs to Yahweh, not to Allah. Also see 67/9c below - a strong one. But of course it is ok for Islam to prove - prove - the Bible wrong and the Quran right. But as we say: Prove, not just loose claims and as loose and invalid words like the Quran always use instead of proofs.

056 57/10d: “- - - heavens - - -.” Plural and wrong. See 2/22d.

057 57/10e: “Not equal among you (Muslims*) are those who spent (freely) and fought, before the Victory, (with those who did so later). Those are higher in rank than those who spent (freely) and fought afterwards. But to all has Allah promised a goodly (reward).” Spend money and fight in war for Muhammad (and his successors) and Allah, and Allah will give you a rich reward. Another mighty incitement for getting money and warriors for war. (But does an omniscient and omnipotent god really need war? – he knows everything and can do everything in better ways. The Quran says it is to test you – but does an omniscient god need to test you, when he knows everything and all the answers before and even predestines everything? And can a god really be a good and benevolent one, when the main thing he wants from his underlings, is that they behave like devils against each others? – when someone says something, but gives instructions for or does something very different, we believe in the instructions and deeds, not in the cheap words.)

058 57/10f: “Not equal among you (Muslims*) are those who spent (freely) and fought, before the Victory, (with those who did so later). Those are higher in rank than those who spent (freely) and fought afterwards. But to all has Allah promised a goodly (reward).” Compare this to especially NT - one of the at least 100% proofs for that Yahweh and Allah are not the same god, and for that Jesus and Muhammad are not in the same line, yes not even in the same league.

059 57/10g: "- - - the Victory - - -". The conquest of Mecca 630 AD.

**060 57/10g: “Not equal among you are those who spent (freely) and fought before the Victory, (with those who did so later). Those are higher in rank - - - “. It is typical for Islam after 622 AD in Medina, that what counts is not what kind of man (women counts little) you are, what good things you have done - though charity counts some - how you care for your fellow citizens, what is in your heart, etc. What really counts is how eager a warrior you are - and here Muhammad/Allah is giving the early warrior followers some extra praise.

Compare this to NT and see if Allah = Yahweh. Impossible unless Yahweh - or Allah - is mentally ill.

*061 57/10h: “Those (the early warrior followers*) are higher in rank than those who spent (freely) afterwards. But to all has Allah promised a goodly (reward).” War - and spending from your possessions for war - is what really counts (this is especially clear as the Quran other places in words not possible to misunderstand says that the ones just giving to and helping, are not equal to the real warriors). The good Muslims - warriors - go directly and to the better parts of Paradise - also see 10/9f above.

Did somebody say something about a peaceful religion or about a good and peaceful and kind Allah or Muhammad?

062 57/10i: "But to all (good Muslims*) has Allah promised a goodly (reward)". All good Muslims end in Paradise. But Paradise has several parts (at least 4 according the the Quran, may be even 6 or more according to the Hadiths - in both cases + the higher heavens), and one is better than the next it seems. (Also this is very different from the Bible's Paradise - Yahweh and Allah the same god with such fundamental differences of their paradises? Impossible - if they were the same god, it had to be the same Paradise).

063 57/10j: "And Allah is well acquainted with all that (people*) do". A warning - be good and obedient, or Allah may punish you - and an incitement - be good and obedient, and Allah will reward you. But also see 2/233h above.

064 57/11a: “Who is he that will loan to Allah a beautiful loan (this expression in the Quran normally means to risk or give your life (in war)*)? For (Allah) will increase it manifold to his credit, and he will have (besides) a liberal reward.” A good promise for attracting or pepping up warriors – or perhaps for attracting resources for waging war. A good deal for the warriors and for the givers of resources if the words are true. But if Muhammad is the cold and scheming manipulator going all out for power no matter what the cost will be to others, like he looks like in history, and not the saint religion has made him, the only one that really gained from this, was Muhammad himself plus his co-operators and later his successors. The sobering fact here is that history all too often is more clear-eyed than religion, especially compared to religions built only on blind faith mixed with obvious mistakes and worse like Islam. Besides: Be killed in war and the god will reward you. This may remind one of the Old Norse religion or of Gingis Khan’s religion - but it DEFINITELY is no confirmation of the Bible, and especially not NT. And is this a good god?

065 57/11b: “Who is he that will loan to Allah a beautiful loan (this expression in the Quran normally means to risk or give your life (in war)*)? For (Allah) will increase it manifold to his credit, and he will have (besides) a liberal reward.” Paradise for being killed in raid for riches or in war (see 57/11a above). Compare this to especially NT. One of the minimum 200% proofs for that Yahweh and Allah are not the same god - and Jesus and Muhammad morally antipodes.

067 57/11d: "- - - Allah will increase at manifold his (the warriors*) credit - - -". If you go on raids or to war for Allah/Muhammad, Allah will repay you many times up in your claimed next life, especially if you are killed in action. A cheap way to pay the warriors in this life - "fight on credit for Muhammad". And especially cheap if Allah does not exist, not to mention if there "at the other side" really is a good and benevolent god, not liking persons who has lived according to a harsh and partly immoral, unethical and unjust war religion.

068 57/11e: "- - - a liberal reward". Paradise. If Allah exists. And if the Quran has told the full truth and only the truth.

069 57/12a: Rather similar to 9/72 above.

070 57/12b: "One Day - - -". The Day of Doom.

071 57/12c: "- - - the believing men and the believing women - - -". = Muslims. This also is one of the not too many places in the Quran where women are mentioned, and even not as parts of a man's family only.

072 57/12d: "- - - their (Muslims'*) Light - - -". Their faith Islam, or the "light" given by the Quran.

57/12e: "- - - by their right hands - - -". In Arabia the right hand was the good or good luck hand/side (and the left the bad hand or bad luck side). An Arabism.

073 57/12f: "Good News for you (Muslims*) on this Day". - if Allah exists, is a major god and everything is correctly described in the Quran.

074 57/12g: "- - - this Day!" The Day of Doom.

075 57/12h: "Gardens beneath which flow rivers!. The Quran's and Islam's Paradise - see 10/9f above. This expression also is the most used Arabism in the Quran - a river is one of the big dreams for dwellers of a hot desert.

076 57/12i: "To dwell therein (Paradise*) for aye!" Well, if everything in the Quran is true. But in 11/108c you will find an indication for that may be Paradise is not quite forever - Islam is not able to explain this point (like so many others).

077 57/12j: "This (Paradise*) is indeed the highest Achievement". This may well be true, but only if the Quran's Paradise exists, and only if the good Muslims end there. As the Quran with all its errors, etc. is not from any god, these are very open questions.

078 57/12k: "- - - indeed - - -". See 2/2b above.

079 57/12-16: Pep-talk for believers.

080 57/13a: "One Day - - -". The Day of Doom.

081 57/13b: "- - - Believers - - -". Muslims - only Muslims are believers in the Quran.

082 57/13c: "- - - (a light) - - -". See 57/12d above.

083 57/13d: "- - - seek a (Muslims'*) Light". The light given by the Quran - - - but a book full of mistakes, etc. and not from a god does not give real light.

084 57/13e: "Within it - - -". Within the religion of Islam.

085 57/13f: "Within it will be Mercy throughout - - -". See 1/1a and read the immoral parts of the Quran's moral and ethical codes, not to mention the unjust and/or immoral parts of the sharia laws and see if you agree.

086 57/13g: "- - - without it (without Islam*), all alongside, will be (Wrath and) Punishment!" For one thing this is a never documented claim, and for another: See 3/77b above.

087 57/13h: "- - - without it (without Islam*), all alongside, will be (Wrath and) Punishment!" Contradicted by the Bible, according to which Islam is a false and made up religion and thus not leading to Paradise. All the mistakes and inhumanities in the Quran may indicate this is correct. Also see 67/9c below - a strong one. But of course it is ok for Islam to prove - prove - the Bible wrong and the Quran right. But as we say: Prove, not just loose claims and as loose and invalid words like the Quran always use instead of proofs.

###088 57/13i: "- - - (Wrath and) Punishment - - -". In most religions this is the deal of the non-believers. But this also may be the fate of the believers, if they are believing in a made up/false religion, if there is a next life and a god at "the other side". And as for Islam so much is wrong in their claimed "holy" book - the Quran - that it obviously is a made up book. No omniscient god had f.x. used so many wrong facts and contradictions. It also is based on the tales of an in reality morally very dubious person (easy to see even in the Quran, if you omit the cheap glorifications) with a lot to gain from his teachings - respect, power, riches for more power - and women. And his god is taken over from a pagan religion and has never manifested itself at all, except in the "high-jacked" parts of the existence of another (claimed or real) god, Yahweh. It is unlikely in the extreme that Allah exists and is a real god. But all the same: Like in so many religions, there are many strong believers. ####The human brain is a strange thing when it is manipulated strongly enough and one-sided enough.

089 57/14a: "(Those without) - - -". The claimed condemned non-Muslims.

090 57/14b: "But ye (non-Muslims*) led yourself into temptation - - -". Psychologically this is a much better claim for Muhammad to tell his followers, than to admit that many simply did not believe him - and often with a reason" as they f.x. saw some of the mistakes in the Quran.

091 57/14c: "- - - (your (non-Muslims'*) false) desires deceived you". Similar to 57/14a just above.

092 57/14d: "- - - (Allah's Promise) - - -". There never in all history or prehistory has been proved one single case of Allah giving a promise, not to mention kept one. A lot of claims, but not one single proved case. Not even the very existence of Allah is proved.

093 57/14e: "- - - the Command of Allah". This undocumented claim only can be true if Allah exists and is a major god. (Well, he can have issued a command even if he should happen to belong to the dark forces).

#094 57/14f: "- - - the Deceiver - - -". The Devil. (One impolite, but relevant comment here, is that one of the theories for who really created the Quran, is Iblis/the Devil, who then dressed up like Gabriel and gave it to Muhammad. Muhammad would not have had the slightest chance to see the difference. The inhuman parts of the Quran may indicate this, but personally we are skeptical, as not even a devil would make up a book where so much is wrong - not unless this was a condition from the god to permit such a hoax: Lots of mistakes etc. to enable thinking persons to evade the trap.

095 57/15a: "This Day - - -". The Day of Doom.

096 57/15b: "- - - those who rejected Allah - - -". One of Muhammad's many negative names for non-Muslims - pretty negative in the ears of Muslims.

097 57/15c: "Your (non-Muslims'*) abode (in the presumed next life*) is the Fire - - -". This only may be true if Allah exists and is a god, if the Quran tells the truth and only the truth, and if you in addition do not believe in a real god. Also see 3/77b above.

098 57/15d: "- - - that (Hell*) is the proper place to claim you (non-Muslim*) - - -". Now we once more are back to the very big differences between the moral and ethical codes of Yahweh contra the ones of Allah - one of the strongest proofs for that Yahweh and Allah are not the same god: Even if you are bound for Hell according to Allah, you may be a very good person and merit Heaven according to Yahweh (and the other way around), so maybe Yahweh will intervene?

We may add that parts of the Quran's moral, ethical, and judicial codes are very special, and only fit a war and apartheid religion - just compare it to "do unto others like you want others do unto you" and judge yourself.

099 57/15e: "- - - rebellious transgressors - - -". One of Muhammad's many negative names - one of the stronger ones - for non-Muslims (though here not used for all non-Muslims).

100 57/15f: "- - - transgressors - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses words similar to this, it is in accordance with its own partly immoral moral code, its partly unethical ethical code, it’s very immoral war code, its partly unjust judicial code, etc., and when it is used in religious contexts, it means everyone not living in accordance with the Quran.

101 57/16a: "- - - the Believers - - -". Muslims.

102 57/16b: “- - - the Truth (the Quran*) that has been revealed - - -”. See 13/1g and 40/75 above.

103 57/16c: "- - - the Truth - - -". See 2/2b, 13/1g and 40/75 above.

104 57/16d: "- - - revealed - - -". But is the Quran really revealed? - and in case from what or whom as no god ever was involved in a book of that quality?

105 57/16e: "- - - those who were given Revelations (here the Bible*) aforetime - - -". The Jews and Christians mainly.

#106 57/16f: "- - - their (Jews', Christians', and Sabeans'*) hearts grew hard - - -". The underlying meaning here is that Muhammad claimed they took the copy he claimed they had got of the claimed "mother Book" in heaven (of which the Quran is claimed to be an exact copy), and falsified it into the Bible. We may add that the claim that the Bible is falsified, long since is proved false both by science and even more so by Islam, by their inability to find one single proved falsification among all the some 44ooo relevant manuscripts and fragments older than 610 AD.

#####We may also point to the fact that if the Quran had been falsified by "hard hearts", it had been made harder and harsher to fit those hearts. But especially NT is much softer and milder.

107 57/17a: "Know ye (people*) (all) that Allah giveth life to the earth after its death". An interesting - and as normal for the Quran not proved - claim, as Allah has never proved his power over life and death. Lots of claims, but never a clear proof. Not over life and death, not over anything at all, yes, not even his own existence. Whereas Yahweh has sent a lot of proofs, if either the Quran or the Bible or both tell the truth on these points. Especially interesting as both the Quran's never proved claim that Yahweh and Allah is the same god, and it’s never proved claim that the Bible is falsified, both are proved wrong.

An extra point here is that this picture refers to rain making the desert blossom. But a desert which blossoms after rain, was not dead, it only looked dead.

108 57/17b: “- - - Signs - - -.” Invalid as proof for Allah. See 2/39b above.

109 57/17c: "- - - that ye (people*) can learn wisdom". One does not learn wisdom from a book full of wrong facts and other mistakes, invalid logic and contradictions, etc.

110 57/17d: "- - - wisdom - - -". For words related to knowledge, see 26/83a above.

111 57/18a: “For those who give to Charity - - -". The demand for charity is one of the pluses for the Quran. But there is no escaping the fact that 2 facts reduces its moral value: For one thing the main point is not to help fellow human beings, but to gain merit in Heaven, and for another: To help your nearest family gives just as much merit in heaven as to help a stranger, and then strangers easily end up far down on the priority list. (For f.x. Christians to help your nearest is a duty, and only to help others is charity.)

112 57/18b: “For those who give to Charity, men and women, and loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan, it shall be increased manifold (to their credit), and they shall have (beside) a liberal reward.” Well, here at last also the not warriors are included - warriors and all others will get rewards in the next life - with no expenses for the warlord Muhammad. (Muhammad in Medina was a typical warlord of his time - like some you even today find in uncivilized parts of Pakistan and Afghanistan. It may be said that he was not worse than other warlords in Arabia at that time, but it definitely is true that he neither was any better, more human, nor less bloody. Which he should have been if he had represented a and benevolent god).

113 57/18c: (A67/26): “For those who give in Charity - - -.” This is the standard interpretation if you use the version of the Quran named after “Asim from Kufa after Hafs” – or for short only “the way of reading after Hafs”. (There once were 14 accepted versions of the Quran – and more in reality. Over the centuries most of them has fallen into disuse, and today only 2 are in daily use: This one (which is the dominant) and “Nafi from Medina after Warsh” (used in large parts of Africa) – or just “the way of reading after Warsh”. Islam never uses the word “versions” for these 14 and more varieties, and mostly pretends they do not exist – they call them “ways of reading”; a hypocrite’s way of hiding the true reality – call it a lie, call it al-Taqiyya, call it a flight from a dangerous truth.) But depending on so minuscule details as the vocalization of the consonants that are transcribed to Latin letters like “sad” and “dal”, the meaning is transformed to: “Verily, as for the men and women who accept the truth as true” (Zamakhshari, Asad). A clear and concise language in the Quran? Any god had been much more exact to make sure that everybody could understand – and that everybody agreed to the meanings and did not split up in cults and sects - - - like has happened to Islam all through its history (it is said that around 3000 sects exist or have existed in Islam).

114 57/18d: "- - - loan to Allah a Beautiful Loan - - -". This is a standard expression in the Quran, normally meaning risking or giving your life in raids or wars for Muhammad - in most cases not for the defence of the religion, but for stealing/robbing, enslaving, extorting, etc. (see the chapter about Muhammad’s raids in "1000+ Mistakes in the Quran" - www.1000mistakes.com . Also see 57/11a-d above. (For the record: In just this case there is a chance that also this expression refers to giving money, but this in case is not the normal meaning of it.)

115 57/18e: "- - - increase manifold - - -". An easy and cheap promise here on Earth, if it is not to be honored until in the next life - and especially so if the religion is a made up one, so that the next life is a different from the one promises, or may be do not exist at all.

116 57/18f: "- - - a liberal reward" . = Paradise. Give money and or your life for Muhammad (and Allah if he exists?) now, and get a reward in the next life. A cheap price for Muhammad - especially if the Quran is a made up book and Allah a made up god, which are real possibilities as the Quran with all its wrongs is not from any god.

117 57/18g: "- - - those who believe - - -". Muslims.

118 57/19a: "- - - Allah and His Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". Muhammad's standard mantra for gluing himself to his platform of power, his(?) god.

119 57/19b: "- - - His Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". See 63/5a below.

120 57/19c: "- - - His Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". A historical anomaly.

121 57/19d: “- - - they (Muslims) are sincere (Lovers of Truth) - - -”. See 13/1g and 40/75. Also remember al-Taqiyya (the lawful lie), Kitman (the lawful half-truth), "war is deceit" - and everything is war/jihad, "break even your oaths if that gives a better result". Remember it and laugh. Or weep.

122 57/19e: "- - - Truth - - -". See 2/2b and 13/1g above.

123 57/19f: "- - - the witnesses (who testify) in the eyes of their (Muslims'*) Lord (Allah*) - - -". Why does an omniscient god need witnesses testifying???

124 57/19g: "- - - they (good Muslims*) shall have their Reward and their Light". This only may be true if Allah exists and is a major god, and if the Quran tells the full truth and only the truth.

125 57/19h: "- - - those who reject Allah - - -". One of Muhammad's many negative names for non-Muslims. The name at least is negative in the ears of Muslims.

126 57/19i: "- - - those who - - - deny Our (Allah's*) Signs - - -". See 57/19h just above.

127 57/19j: “- - - Our (Allah’s) Signs - - -.” Invalid as proof for Allah. See 2/39 above.

128 57/19k: "- - - they are Companions of Hell-Fire." = they are bound for Hell.

129 57/19l: "- - - they are Companions of Hell-Fire." One of Muhammad's many negative names for non-Muslims.

130 57/20a: "Know ye (all>) that the life of this world is but a play and amusement (compared to the claimed next life*) - - -". This is a claim you often meet in religions. The intention is to sober up people. But Islam is among the religions which have never proved anything about this. There only are claims.

131 57/20b: "But in the Hereafter is a Penalty severe (for the devotees of wrong) - - -". See 3/77b above.

132 57/20c: "- - - ( - - - the devotees of wrong) - - -". Yet another negative - very negative - name for non-Muslims.

133 57/20d: "- - - (- - - wrong) - - -". Beware that when the Quran - and Muslim scholars - use words like this, it is in accordance with the book's partly immoral, moral code.

134 57/20e: "- - - Forgiveness from Allah - - -". Just for the record: Allah can forgive nobody unless he exists and in addition is a god.

135 57/20f: "- - - Good Pleasure - - -". Here: The Quran's and Islam's paradise. See 10/9f above.

136 57/20g: "- - - ( - - - the devotees of Allah) - - -". Muslims.

137 57/20h: "And what is the life of this world, but goods and chattels and deception?" Similar to 57/20a above.

138 57/21a: "- - - forgiveness from your (Muslims'*) Lord (Allah*) - - -". See 57/20e above.

139 57/21b: "- - - a Garden (of Bliss) - - -". The Quran's and Islam's Paradise - see 10/9f above.

140 57/21c: "- - - those who believe - - -". Muslims.

141 57/21d: "- - - believe in Allah and His messengers (included Muhammad*) - - -". A somewhat strengthened variety of Muhammad's standard mantra for gluing himself to his god and his platform of power.

142 57/21e: "- - - His messengers (included Muhammad*) - - -". See 63/5a below.

143 57/21f: "- - - the Grace of Allah, which He (Allah*) bestows on whom He pleases - - -". A bit different from Yahweh who bestows it on all who wishes it and qualifies for it - even "in the 11.th hour" (f.x. Matt.20/8-13).

144 57/21g: "- - - Allah is the Lord of Grace abounding". One of the nearly innumerable never proved claims in the Quran. Claims are cheap - proofs are reliable.

145 57/22a: "No misfortune can happen on earth or in your (humans'*) souls but is recorded in a decree before We (Allah*) bring it into existence - - -". Anything which happens on earth and even anything you think and feel ("happen - - - in your soul") is claimed predestined by Allah.

146 57/22b: "No misfortune can happen on earth or in your souls but is recorded in a decree before We (Allah*) bring it into existence - - -". Everything which happens is not only predestined by Allah, but even recorded "in a decree" before Allah makes it happen. But where is then the justice in punishing man for sins, when it is Allah who has decided it and made it happen??!!

##147 57/22c: “No misfortune can happen on earth or in your souls (minds*) but is recorded in a decree before We (Allah*) brings it into existence - - -.” In more plain words: Nothing can happen unless in accordance with predestination - with what Allah has decided and written down on beforehand. But this contradicts each and every verse saying man has free will and also that man is to blame when he does something wrong. And what about accidents and natural catastrophes – are they planned and executed – like Calvin by the drawer/artist in Calvin and Hobbs – by a benevolent, good god? Not to mention: What about prayers? - if everything is predestined long before and in accordance with a Plan nobody and nothing can change, also prayers can change nothing and are in case meaningless in Islam.

(At least 10 contradictions).

148 57/22d: “No misfortune can happen on earth or in your souls but is recorded in a decree before We (Allah*) bring it into existence: that is truly easy for Allah:” See 4/78 above, Plus: How do Islam explain why Allah makes natural disasters - like the tsunami of 2004? And how do they explain why non-Muslims are condemned to Hell, when “no misfortune in your souls” f.x. not becoming Muslims, can happen except by the will of Allah? A benevolent god?

149 57/22e: "No misfortune can happen on earth or in your souls but is recorded in a decree before We (Allah*) bring it into existence: that (predestination*) is truly easy for Allah". Many Muslims try to explain away the predestination - that it "is not really predestination" or "it is not full predestination" or something like that. The reason is that if Allah predestines everything like the Quran clearly states, he is unjust when he rewards or punishes - or for that case rewards - people for what they do. Therefore Muslims need - and Muhammad needed - free will for man so that man can be blamed for things himself. But free will for man is impossible to combine with full predestination , and thus you meet these claims about "not real predestination", etc. and "partly free will", etc. But this verse (and many others) leaves no doubt about that everything is predestined by Allah, and that predestination is easy for Allah. (NB: Also partly - even a tiny part - free will for man makes predestination and also precognition from difficult to (mainly) impossible - the laws of chaos sees to that.

150 57/22f: "- - - that is truly easy for Allah - - -". At least the words are truly easy for anyone.

151 57/22g: "- - - truly - - -". In a book with so much wrong, some words - like here "truly" - cannot be taken at face value unless they are proved. And one more problem: Does Allah really exist?

152 57/23a: "- - - favors bestowed upon you - - -". All good things you experience, are favors bestowed upon you by Allah (but bad things are your own fault, though predestined by Allah - understand this if you are able to).

153 57/23b: "For Allah loweth not - - -". Allah can love nobody if he does not exist and in addition is something supernatural (well, if he belongs to the dark forces, his love in case may give unwanted results).

154 57/24a: "- - - (- - - Allah's Way) - - -". The road to Allah and his claimed paradise - see 10/9f above.

155 57/24b: "- - - verily - - -". See 2/2b above.

156 57/24c: "- - - Allah is - - - worthy of all praise". Read 1/1a and see if you agree.

157 57/25a: "We (Allah*) sent aforetime Our messengers - - -". The Quran claims that Allah has sent prophets to all people through all times preaching Islam - included the old Jewish prophets(!) - but that the teaching has been falsified or superseded by false religions. The Hadiths mentions the number 124ooo prophets/messengers, and the "real" number must be even higher. Except for the old Jewish ones and Muhammad, neither science nor Islam has been able to find the slightest traces from any of them.

158 57/25b: “- - - clear Signs - - -.” See 2/39b or 2/99.

###159 57/25c: "- - - (Allah*) sent with them (the 120ooo+ claimed earlier prophets/messengers) the Book (a claimed copy of the claimed "Mother Book" - the same one the Quran is a claimed exact copy of*) - - -". This is one of the places where the Quran makes it clear that the claimed earlier prophets/messengers also got their book similar to the Quran - a copy of the claimed timeless "Mother of Books" revered by Allah and his angels in his Heaven. And copies of the same book has to be identical - if not Islam has got another problem to explain.

160 57/25d: "- - - the Balance (of Right and Wrong) - - -". Unclear. It might - might - refer to the 10 Commandments Moses got, or generally to Islam's ethical and moral rules - or to something else.

*161 57/25e: “- - - We (Allah*) sent down Iron, in which there is awesome power - - - for Allah is Full of Strength, exalted in Might - - - ”. Actually iron is part of nature. Allah must have been up early, because if not it would not be possible to create the Earth, as the centre of the Earth is mainly iron - 4,6 billion years old. Also some mountains where you find the iron are tens and hundreds of million years old. Proof? Not unless it is proved Allah really sent it down.

162 57/25f: "- - - (so) that Allah may test who it is that will help, unseen, Him and His Messengers - - -". One of the big mysteries in the Quran, and one we have never met any Muslim able to or wanting to explain, is: Why does an omniscient, omnipotent and predestining god need to test his followers?!

163 57/25g: "- - - Him (Allah*) and His Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". A version of Muhammad's standard mantra to glue himself to Allah - his platform of power.

164 57/25h: "- - - His (Allah's*) Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". See 63/5a below.

165 57/25i: "- - - His (Allah's*) Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". A historical anomaly.

166 57/25j: "- - - Allah is full of Strength, Exalted in Might - - -". But strength and might he has never clearly shown - only words, and words are cheap.

167 57/25k: "- - - (and (Allah is*) able to enforce His Will)". Comment similar to 57/25j just above.

168 57/26a: "We (Allah*) sent Noah and Abraham - - -". According to the Bible their god was Yahweh, not Allah - a very different god, especially like you meet him in NT and the new covenant (Luke 22/20) never mentioned by Islam.

169 57/26b: "We (Allah*) sent Noah and Abraham - - -". " historical anomalies.

##170 57/26c: "- - - Right Guidance - - -". Here indicated Islam. The Quran claims the old Jewish prophets - and it’s many, many other claimed prophets - were teaching Islam, but that they were superseded by paganism or twisted into Jewism or Christianism. As for the last 2 mentioned religion, the Quran is proved wrong on this point both by science and even stronger by Islam. As for superseded by paganism, it is up to you to believe it, but there never was found one trace from Islam older than 610 AD when Muhammad started his new religion. Also: Allah cannot have much power if he could be superseded by each and every pagan god and spirit.

171 57/26d: "- - - rebellious transgressors - - -". One of Muhammad's many negative names - to say the least of it - for non-Muslims (especially the ones who actively preached against it).

172 57/26e: "- - - transgressors - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses words similar to this, it is in accordance with its own partly immoral moral code, its partly unethical ethical code, it’s very immoral war code, its partly unjust judicial code, etc., and when it is used in religious contexts, it means everyone not living in accordance with the Quran.

173 57/27a: "- - - Jesus, the son of Mary - - -". This is what Muhammad called Jesus - "Isa bin Maryam" in Arab. But it is a wrong name, as his official father was Joseph, and Jesus' name thus Jesus bin Joseph - or Jesus ben Joseph in Hebrew.

And to make the picture of Muhammad's problems with Jesus' name more complete: Muhammad uses the name Isa for Jesus in the Quran. This is wrong. Isa is the Arab version of Esau (the brother of the Jewish patriarch Jacob). The Arab form for the name Jesus - or Joshua in Hebrew - is Yoshuwa (the spelling may vary a little). Any god had known this - Muhammad obviously not. Who then made the Quran? See also 5/110a above.

174 57/27b: "- - - Jesus - - - Mary - - -". In connection to the Quran 2 historical anomalies.

###175 57/27c: This is one of the serious ones: “- - - (Allah*) bestowed on him (Jesus*) the Gospel - - -”. For one thing is seems that Muhammad did not know there were 4 Gospels - he always used singular. Worse is that the Gospels were all written after his (Jesus') death. Muslims try to “save the day” by insisting that Allah used another Gospel which is now disappeared - a standard way for Muslims to “explain” difficult points, and as normal without documentation. But in this case they may even be right - there may have existed an older one (the possible original for 3 of the known Gospels). The bad news is that we know that if it ever existed, also that one was written after Jesus was dead, because a Gospel is the story of Jesus’ life and death, resurrection, and ascension to Heaven, and it could not be written until after this had happened (and that possible Gospel in case means that there is even shorter time between Jesus and the first written Gospels - and thus even more reliable). Muslims also never mention the other possible explanation for why the 3 are so similar: That the oldest have been model for the two others. (In this case there was no older Gospel they partly copied.)

176 57/27d: "- - - but the Monasticism which they invented for themselves, We (the god) did not prescribe for them - - -". In this the Quran may be right - monasticism, and for that case saints - is/are not from the Bible.

177 57/27e: "Yet We (Allah*) bestowed, on those among them (Christians*) who believed, their (due) reward (Paradise*) - - -". This means that at least some Christians will be accepted into Allah's paradise, at least among the ones living before the Quran came with (claimed, but never proved) corrections to the (claimed, but disproved) falsifications of the Bible they honestly believed in.

178 57/27f: "- - - rebellious transgressors - - -". One more of Muhammad's negative names for non-Muslims. Beware that it does not mean what is normally meant by the expression "rebellious transgressors", but "people refusing to accept - or opposing - Muhammad and his teaching".

179 57/28a: "- - - ye that believe - - -". Muslims.

180 57/28b: "Fear Allah, and believe in His (Allah's*) Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". A strengthened version of Muhammad's standard mantra for gluing himself to his source of power, his claimed god.

181 57/28c: "- - - His (Allah's*) Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". See 63/5a below.

182 57/28d: "- - - His (Allah's*) Messenger (Muhammad*) - - -". A historical anomaly.

183 57/28e: "- - - His (Allah's*) Mercy - - -". See above this surah (under the name) and 1/1a above.

184 57/28f: "- - - He (Allah*) will bestow on you (Muslims*) a double portion of his Mercy". One of the many things impossible if he does not exist and is a god. (If he had been a politician before an election, the newspapers had said "populism". There is a lot of promises of related kind in the Quran - just go looking, and you will find it.)

185 57/28g: "- - - He (Allah*) will provide for you (people/Muslims*) a Light (the teachings of the Quran*) - - -". A book where so much is wrong, is no light.

186 57/28h: "- - - He (Allah*) will forgive you (Muslims*) - - -". Only 2 can forgive: The victim and a god. Thus this only may be true if Allah exists and is a god.

187 57/28i: "- - - Allah is Oft-Forgiving - - -". See 57/28h just above.

188 57/28j: "- - - Allah is - - - Most Merciful - - -". See above this surah (under the name) and 1/1a above..

189 57/29a: "- - - the People of the Book - - -" = Jews and Christians mainly.

190 57/29b: "- - - they (Jews/Christians*) have no power whatsoever over the Grace of Allah - - -". This is of no consequence as they are only seeking the grace of Yahweh.

191 57/29c: "- - - (Allah*) bestows it (his grace*) on whomsoever He wills - - -". Some difference from Yahweh who bestows it on whomsoever wishes it and qualifies. One of the many indications for that Yahweh and Allah are not the same god.

192 57/29d: "For Allah is the Lord of Grace abounding". One more of the never proved claims in the Quran. As for claims it might have been possible to accept that some of them simply were tales telling how things were/are, but only if at least some of them were proved true so that the reliability was confirmed here and there. But when nothing is proved or documented - nothing at all of the central claims - things feel wrong, and this even more so as to rely on tales and fast talk and evade or being unable to prove anything, are hallmarks of cheats, deceivers and swindlers.
