1000+ Comments on the Quran: Surah 104 -- Al-Humazah (The Scandalmonger)

Revelation: Mecca, 614 AD

(See general comments on Surahs here: Introduction)

The quotes and comments

001 "In the name of Allah, Most Gracious, Most Merciful". Please read the surahs from Medina, the immoral parts of the Muslim moral code, the unjust/immoral parts of sharia, and the Quran's rules for lying, thieving/looting, enslaving, raids and wars, plus the rules for treatment of girls and women - free and captured - and see if you agree. Always when there is a distance between words and corresponding demands and deeds, we personally believe in the demands and deeds. Glorious words are cheap, demands and deeds are reliable. Glorifying words and claims are too cheap for anyone to use and disuse - when you read, judge from realities, not from propaganda.

002 104/1: "Woe to every kind of scandalmonger - - -". Does this also go for all the Muslims making up all kinds of conspiracy theories and other "wishful" ideas, blaming everything bad on others - especially on the bad West?.

003 104/1-2: "- - - every scandalmonger and backbiter, who pileth up wealth and layeth it by - - -". In plain words: Every bad person who made good money without helping the poor and Allah's cause = the black picture of the non-Muslims.

004 104/4a: "He (see 104/1-2 just above*) will be sure to be thrown into that which Breaks to Pieces". See 3/77b above.

005 104/4b: "- - - sure - - -". See f.x. 2/2b and 81/19a above.

006 104/4c: "- - - that which Breaks to Pieces (al-hutamah)". (A104/4): "Al-hutamah - one of several metaphors for the otherworldly suffering comprised within the concept of 'hell'".

007 104/6a: "(It is) the Fire of (the Wrath of) Allah kindled (to blaze) - - -". A number of Muslim scholars believe also Hell is part of Allah's work - Iblis/the Devil could not run Hell against the wish of an omnipotent god. This verse seems to confirm the idea.

008 104/6b: "- - - the Fire - - -". Hell.
