1000+ Claims in the Quran - Invalid Unless Proven, Surah 31
18 May 2014
SURAH 31: LUQMAN
(Mecca, 614-617 AD)
(Luqman was a wise man from old Arab fairy tales – an Arabism. + what does it tell about the Quran that Muhammad took persons and tales also from local fairytales?)
001 31/2a: “These are Verses of the Wise Book”. A book with lots and lots of mistakes and with lots and lots of unproved statements based on nothing except unproved, cheap words, is no wise book and no book “full of wisdom”. It may be symptomatic that the name of this surah, Luqman, is the name of a wise man in an Arab fairy tale, and not a real one. For similar claims see 2/231- 10/1 – 10/37 – 17/99 – 28/2 – 31/20 - 32/2 – 35/25 - 36/2 – 43/4 – 54/5.
002 31/2b: "- - - wise - - -". See 2/2b above. When it comes to words like "wise" and similar, be extra obs. when they are used for camouflaged flattery. Also see 13/3j and 26/83a above.
003 31/3a: “A Guide - - -”. See 31/2 just above. Such a book also is no good guide.
004 31/3d: "- - - Good - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses words like this, it is relative to the book's own partly immoral moral code.
#005 31/4b: "- - - regular Prayer - - -". This demand for regular prayers - 5 times a day - was so essential for Allah (he even wanted more often according to Hadiths) that it became one of the 5 "pillars" of Islam. For Yahweh such formalism was so totally without any interest, that no similar rule - not even the idea - at all is mentioned in the entire Bible: Pray when there is a reason or a need or a wish. One of the 100% proofs for that Yahweh and Allah are not the same god.
006 31/4d: "- - - (good Muslims have*) - - - the assurance of the Hereafter - - -". Only if Allah exists and has delivered the Quran, and the Quran in addition tells the full truth and only the truth.
007 31/5a: “These (Muslims*) are on (true) guidance (the Quran*) - - -“. A book with lots of mistakes, twisted arguments, as twisted logic, and dictated by a man of very suspect morality and reliability, and defending and enlarging his platform of power – his self proclaimed religion – is no reliable guidance and of suspected truth. More proofs are needed to make this believable.
008 31/5d: "- - - (true) guidance (the Quran*) from their (Muslims'*) Lord (Allah*) - - -". No book with so much wrong is from a god.
009 31/5e: "- - - (good Muslims*) are the ones who will prosper". Often claimed, never documented. Also see 31/5a above.
010 31/6c: "- - - without knowledge - - -". Who are without knowledge - the ones who see that something is wrong with the Quran, or the ones who just blindly believe?
011 31/6f: "- - - to mislead (men (Muslims*)) - - -". Who are mislead? - the ones believing blindly in the words of man of dubious moral, believing in the use of al-Taqiyya (the lawful lie), Kitman (the lawful half-truth), etc., deception ("war is deceit" - and "everything" is jihad), and broken words/promises/oaths, a man liking power and women? - or the ones able to see that something is seriously wrong in the Quran?
012 31/6h: "- - - the Path of Allah - - -". This path does not exist unless Allah exists and in addition is something supernatural - from the white or dark forces.
013 31/7a: "- - - Our (Allah's*) Signs - - -". There does not exist one single sign in this entire world which clearly is from Allah. Mostly the claimed signs just are natural phenomena which are not even clearly signifying a god, and in each and every case any priest in any religion can claim just the same for his god(s). Such "signs" are totally invalid as sign for a specific god - or a god at all - unless it first is proved that it really is that god - if any - who does it.
014 31/7b: "- - - he (a skeptic*) turns away in arrogance, as if he heard them (the tales about the claimed signs of Allah*) not, as if there were deafness in both his ears - - -". Psychologically a much better story for Muhammad to tell his followers, than to admit that some saw good reasons for skepticism. The same technique is used today and has been used through all times by leaders pushing ideologies or religions.
015 31/8b: "- - - righteous deeds - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses words like this, it is relative to the book's own partly immoral moral code.
016 31/8c: "(For good Muslims*) there will be the Gardens of Bliss". If Allah exists and if the Quran in addition tells the full truth and only the truth about him.
Also remember that the enormous differences between the Paradise of Yahweh and the one of Allah, are one of the really strong proofs for that Yahweh and Allah are not the same god. If they had been, their paradise had been one and the same.
017 31/8-9: "(For good Muslims*) there will be the Gardens of Bliss, to dwell therein". If Allah exists and if the Quran in addition tells the full truth and only the truth about him.
018 31/9a: “The promise of Allah is true”. There never was one proved promise which was or is proved come true. Guess if Islam had told about it in case! Claims "en masse" but never a proved case.
019 31/9c: "He (Allah*) is Exalted in Power - - -". Perhaps, but he has never provably showed it.
020 31/9d: "He (Allah*) is - - - Wise". Not if he made the Quran - too many mistaken facts, etc.
021 31/10a: "He created - - -". One of the Quran's many unproved claims. See 21/56c above.
###022 31/10b: “He created the heavens (plural and wrong*) without any pillars that you can see - - -”. The Quran tells that the 7 heavens rest on invisible pillars standing on Earth (of course they need pillars - if not they would fall down!!!). Nowadays even Islam knows this is wrong, and the statements have to be explained away. We have f.x been told from Islamic information centers on Internet that: “- everyone with an IQ more than 60 of course understand that that means the pillars do not exist”.
But we know well the difference between “invisible” and “not existing”.
We also remember that the Quran - and Islam and Muslims when they do not need to "explain" away errors, etc. - says the book is to be understood literally - "clear meaning" - (if nothing else is said). About the statement that what is said in the Quran has clear meaning - see f.x. 3/7, 11/1b, 19/97, 26/2, 27/1, 28/2, 41/3, 43/2, 44/2, 44/58, 54/32. No doubt.
023 31/10c: (YA3587): “He (Allah*) created the heavens without any pillars that ye can see - - -.” Or does it mean that it is the heavens you cannot see? – pick your choice, as the claimed clear Arab text may mean also this (though it is the first one we nearly always meet). A. Yusuf Ali here explains the pillars with forces – interesting as it is an explanation we have not met before. But it is meaningless all the same: For one thing no force field has ever been registered (shall we guess that Muslims will explain this with a loose and convenient claim about forces only Allah can register?) But the main thing is that there are no 7 heavens that are “raised” and kept in their places – neither by pillars, nor by anything else.
024 31/10f: “He set on earth mountains standing firm, lest it should shake with you - - -”. Originally Muslim scholars say that this refers to the (wrong) danger that the pancake-like (?), flat disc which is Earth, could start shaking or wobbling, then to tumble and turn and drop you off - and some such scholars still admits this is the real meaning. But even if we accept Islam’s modern “explanation” - that this has to do with earth quakes, it is completely wrong. Mountains do not hinder earth quakes. On the contrary: Earthquakes very often are connected to the same processes which build the mountains, whether this is tectonic or volcanic activity (when we say “very often” in connection to tectonic activity, the reason is that earthquakes also are made from tectonic plates just sliding past each other without building mountains). The fact is that in some cases mountains - or because of varieties in big lakes or masses of snow in the mountains giving varying weight - can cause earthquakes (source: New Scientist). (There f.x. are some more earthquakes in the northern part of the Earth during winter because of the weight of the snow, and there often is more snow in the mountains than in the low-land, producing imbalance - also here the source is New Scientist.)
025 31/10h: "We (Allah*) send down rain from the sky - - -". See 11/7a above.
026 31/10i: "- - - (Allah*) produce on earth every kind of noble creature - - -". See 11/7a and 21/56c above.
027 31/11a: “Such is the Creation of Allah - - -". See 11/7a and 21/56c above.
028 31/12b: "We (Allah*) bestowed (in the past) wisdom on Luqman - - -". Luqman is a wise man in some Arab fairy tales. (A fact only Arabs knew - was Allah for the whole world in 614 - 617 AD, or was that idea a later one? Luqman is one more Arabism in the Quran.) Besides: How come that Allah bestowed wisdom on a made up person from fairy tales? (One possible explanation is that Muhammad did not know that Luqman was a made up person - but what does that in case tell about Allah?) And what does it tell about the maker of the Quran, that he uses Arab fairy tales in his book? - and that he pretends they are true stories?
029 31/12d: "Show thy (Muslims'*) gratitude to Allah". Why? There is not proved he has done anything at all - a lot of loose claims and as lose words, but not one proof. Not even his very existence is proved.
##030 31/12e: "Any who is (so) grateful (towards Allah*) does so to the profits of his own soul - - -". What kind of profit? If the Quran is a made up book - and with all its errors, etc. it at least is from no god - also Islam is a made up religion representing the dressed up pagan god al-Lah. Not much profit neither for body or soul - except for the priests and other religious leaders, included Muhammad.
031 31/12h: "- - - Allah is - - - worthy of all praise - - -". Read first "1000+ Mistakes in the Quran" ( www.1000mistakes.com ) and see 80%(?) of the mistakes in the Quran, then the surahs from Medina so that you meet the real Allah (skip the glorious words, and read his deeds, demands, rules, etc., and you see the real claimed god) and the real Islam - the mistakes, and the war and suppression religion. Then read the black sides of Islam's moral code, And finally the most unjust parts of the sharia laws. Then see if you agree.
032 31/13a: "- - - Luqman - - -". Luqman was a wise man from old Arab folklore and fairy tales. It tells something about the Quran and about Muhammad that he uses elements from fairy tales like if it were from true stories. See 31/12b above.
033 31/13e: "- - - false worship is indeed the highest wrongdoing". Does this also go for Muslims if the Quran is a made up book? False against what god in case?
034 31/14a: "And We (Allah) have enjoined on man (to be good) to parents - - -". This strongly contradicts 6/151 which among other things says: "- - - I (Muhammad*) will rehearse what Allah hath really prohibited you (Muslims*) from: - - - be good to your parents - - -". But on the other hand 6/151 is one of the (19?) places in the Quran where Muslim scholars generally agree on that there is a mistake in the book. ("1000 Mistakes in the Quran" lists 15 of them).
###035 31/14b: "Show gratitude to Me (Allah*) - - -". What for if the tales about him just are made up ones? - not one essential word in those tales is proved, and most of the tales are known to be from old legends, fairy tales etc. + from older religions, included the Bible, but twisted!
036 31/14c: "- - - to Me (Allah*) is (thy (humans'*) final) Goal". Often claimed in the Quran, never proved anywhere.
037 31/15d: "- - - justice - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses words like this, it is in accordance with its own partly immoral moral and judicial codes.
038 31/15g: "- - - in the End the return of you all is to Me (Allah*) - - -". Often claimed, never documented.
039 31/15h: "- - - in the End the return of you all is to Me (Allah*) - - -". Contradicted by the Bible, which says that the return will be to Yahweh, not to Allah. Also see 67/9c below - a strong one. But of course it is ok for Islam to prove - prove - the Bible wrong and the Quran right. But as we say: Prove, not just loose claims and as loose and invalid words like the Quran always use instead of proofs.
040 31/16b: "- - - Luqman - - -". Even if Luqman is from fairy tales, he in this case is a time anomaly, because once was the first time he was mentioned by a teller of tales, and to everybody living before that, the name is such an anomaly - - - if it is true that there were copies of the claimed "Mother Book" with tales about him even at that time, too. The Quran claims there have been copies of this claimed timeless book sent down to all times to the claimed prophets for Islam. You of course are free to believe this.
Not to mention: How could Arab fairy tales end up in the claimed "Mother of the Book", a book claimed to be written before the world was created, and perhaps existed since eternity? - impossible unless there is at least total predestination - - - and where is then a fair and just god who is said to reward for good deeds and punish for bad ones? - and where is f.x. the free will of man?
041 31/16d: "- - - Allah will bring it forth - - -". This only is possible - possible - if Allah exists, and in addition is something with supernatural power - white or dark.
042 31/16e: "- - - Allah understands the finest mysteries - - -". Similar often claimed, but never proved.
043 31/16f: "- - - enjoin what is just - - -". See 31/16d just below.
044 31/16g: "- - - forbid what is wrong - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses expressions like this, it is relative to the book's own partly immoral moral code. Compared to the one and fundamental "constitution" of all moral all ethics and of moral and ethical rules: "Do unto others like you want others to do unto you", the Quran's - and thus Islam's - moral code is unethical and immoral a number of places, even horrible some places. (f.x. the best deeds were raids and wars in the name of Allah - most of them in reality for riches, slaves and power, and for forcing Islam on others or suppressing/eradicating other religions. Muslims defends this with that thieving and worse only are permitted during jihad - holy war. But that is no defense - doing it in the name of the god in reality makes stealing, rape, enslavement, torture, and murder, etc. even more despicable).
#045 31/17b: "- - - regular Prayer - - -".
046 31/17c: "- - - enjoin what is just - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses expressions like this, it is in accordance with its own partly immoral moral and judicial codes.
047 31/17d: "- - - wrong - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses words like this, it is in accordance with its own partly immoral moral code.
048 31/18c: "- - - Allah loveth not any arrogant boaster". Is Muhammad an arrogant boaster when he is telling about all Allah has done and all he can do, if the tales are not true? - and they are not if Allah does not exist or if they for other reasons are made up - by dark forces or man (they are not from any god, as no god would be involved in a book as full of mistakes, contradictions, etc. as the Quran).
049 31/19: "- - - the harshest of sounds without doubt is the braying of the ass". When Muslims are punishing people for doubting in a god who never proved his existence, or in a self proclaimed prophet who never was able to prove his connection to a god - there only are strong, but loose words and as loose claims to base the punishment on - is that a kind of "braying like an ass"?
050 31/20a: "Do ye (people*) not see that Allah has subjected to your (use) all things in the heavens and on earth - - -". No, we do not see that. For one thing not all things are for our use, and for another there is no indication anywhere for that Allah has done so. There even nowhere is a proof for his existence.
051 31/20c: "- - - (Allah*) has made His bounties flow to you (Muslims*) in exceeding measures - - -". For one thing many a Muslim does not have material means and good life "in exceeding measures", and for another: Similar claim is put forth many places in the Quran, but never proved. On the contrary: Within a work or an area or both there normally there is a correlation between your toil and your outcome - your bounty. This indicates it not a god, but your/somebody's work and/or background which decides how big your bounty will be, not a god.
052 31/20f: "- - - (non-Muslims are*) without knowledge (the Quran or similar*) and without guidance (Islam*) - - -". But as so much is wrong in the Quran, who may in reality be "on wrong road" of the three possible parts: Muslims? Non-Muslims without enough knowledge? Non-Muslims with enough knowledge to see that something is seriously wrong in the Quran and hence with Islam?
053 31/20h: “- - - without a Book (like the Quran*) to enlighten them”. This implies that the Quran enlightens some ones – but a book with that many mistakes, etc., enlightens nobody. Also note how much value Muhammad puts on the written words - a book seems to be a proof for something in religion for him. But a book is as easy to falsify as a verbal tale.
054 31/21a: “- - - the (Revelations) - - -". Often claimed, but never proved - and even if it had been revelations: From whom or what? There is the TLE (Temporal Lobe Epilepsy) which modern medical science suspects. There are dark forces. There is Iblis - the Muslim Devil - dressed up like Gabriel (Muhammad had in case no chance to know the difference). Personally we are skeptical to the idea about Iblis - too many mistakes in the Quran even for a devil. But the possibility remains that the god did not permit him to make the Quran to waylay more humans, unless it contained so many mistakes that normally intelligent persons saw the trap (irony; may be the god did not want too many stupid persons in his Paradise??). And there is a cold, scheming brain - perhaps Muhammad's. The only thing which is sure, is that revelations as full of mistakes, contradictions, etc. like the Quran, is not from any god.
###As for Gabriel there is a strange fact in the Quran: He is never named in the surahs from Mecca. Not until after he came to Medina did Muhammad start claiming he got his information(?) and messages(?) from Gabriel. If Muhammad really had got - or even only believed he got - the claimed messages from an angel, and even a central one, this had been such a strong agument that there is no chance Muhammad had not told about this - and often - during the first difficult 13 years in Mecca. What is the explanation?
055 31/21e: "'Nay, we non-Muslims*) shall follow the ways that we found our fathers (following)' What! Even if it is Satan beckoning them to the Penalty of the (Blazing) Fire?" But this is just what Muslims are doing - blindly and without real questions following the old beliefs (taqlid).
"- - - it is in the nature of man to regard the beliefs which have been implanted in him from childhood, and which he now shares with his social environment, as the only true and possible ones" - which explains in details why Muslims believe in spite of all facts proving something is seriously wrong with the religion.
(Also see 6/108b): “Thus have We (Allah*) made alluring to each people its own doings”. ###Comment A6/92 (A6/93 in the 2008 English edition): “Lit., ‘thus godly have we made….”, etc. implying that it is in the nature of man to regard the belief which have been implanted in him from childhood, and which he now shares with his social environment, as the only true and possible ones – with the result that a polemic against those beliefs often tends to provoke a hostile psychological reaction.” This is said as an explanation why Islam sometimes meets a negative reaction. But the book skips the fact that this also goes for Muslims: If they are strongly indoctrinated, they may react strongly to arguments and facts they do not like – and without thinking over – or being mentally able to think over – even to true facts.
To repeat it:But this is just what Muslims are doing - blindly and without real questions following the old beliefs. When our father tells us that the Quran is the truth, this must be correct, because so his grandfather told him!
056 31/22a: "Whoever submits his whole self to Allah - - -", - runs a great risk, as long as Allah most likely does not exist. Even worse: The only claim for his existence is a story telling that a former pagan god is Allah, a story choke full of mistaken facts and other errors, and told by a man of very moderate moral standard and reliability.
Curious: Hubal perhaps was another name for al-Lah/Allah. And the name Hubal may be a combination of the word "Hu" - meaning spirit of god - and the name Baal - meaning master or lord or owner (Baal was a name used for several gods in the region from at least the 14th century BC). If Allah thus was connected to Baal, Islam is far out when they claim the Jewish prophets, included Jesus, preached his religion. Baal was at times celebrated also in Israel, but definitely not by any of the prophets - they looked on Ba'al as a representative for the Devil. (see second part of 1/1d)
If Jesus - and at that time this was not forgotten and unclear knowledge like today - had preached about a god -al-Lah/Allah/Hubal associated with Ba'al, he had not survived many days in Jerusalem.
057 31/22b: "- - - a doer of good - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses expressions like this, it was relative to the book's own partly immoral moral code. Compared to the one and fundamental "constitution" of all inter human moral all ethics and of moral and ethical rules: "Do unto others like you want others to do unto you", the Quran's - and thus Islam's - moral code is unethical and immoral a number of places, even horrible some places. (f.x. the best deeds were raids and wars in the name of Allah - most of them in reality for riches, slaves and power. Muslims defend this with that such behavior only is permitted during jihad - holy war. But that is no defense - doing it in the name of the god in reality makes stealing, rape, enslavement, torture, and murder, etc. even more despicable).
058 31/22d: “- - - the most trustworthy hand-hold (the Quran and Allah*) - - -“. But a book with so many mistakes, etc. - and even some shining lies (like that miracles will not make a lot of people believe) – is not trustworthy. May be also this is wrong. Also see 31/22a above.
059 31/22f: "- - - with Allah rests the End and Decision of (all) affairs". There is no doubt when claiming that man has free will, the Quran is wrong: Allah decides all things - the predestination. (Actually this is said many places and in many ways throughout the Quran). If Allah decides all things, man has no free will. But how fair, how good, and how benevolent is Allah then, when he punishes man for sins Allah has decided he shall make? And what is the effect of prayers if everything is predestined - included your prayer?
Either free will for man or predestination is wrong. There is no way to combine the two statements - not even for an omnipotent god. (In the non-material realms of existence, there are things impossible also for gods.)
As for the value of prayers in Islam, also see 62/9c. And if you combine 62/9c with 67/9c - a strong one - you get something thought-provoking. (And relevant here: Muslims often are taught that a question or problem can have 2 or more true and correct solutions - Islam is forced to teach this, because if not, many of the mistakes and contradictions in the Quran become too obvious. But this ONLY is true if parallel true solutions are possible. In cases where 2 or more possible solutions are mutually excluding each other, maximum 1 of the mutually excluding ones can be true. It should be a bit thought provoking for Muslims, that just this "small" difference in theoretical thinking and teaching, was one of the reasons (there were several of course) for why Europe and the West exploded into the Technical Revolution, while the Muslim area stagnated). Two star examples are: 1) Full predestination is not possible even for an omnipotent god to combine with even the smallest piece of free will for man - the two are mutually excluding + the laws of chaos kick in. The same for full and unchangeable predestination long time before, combined with any claimed effect of prayers - the two are mutually excluding each other.)
060 31/23a: "But if any reject Faith, let not his rejection grieve thee - - -." Once more this grave distinction between the Quran and NT: Here NT has "the lost sheep" (Matt. 18/12-14) and "the 11. hour/the vineyard" (Matt. 20/1-16). Once more: Yahweh and Allah not the same god, Muhammad and Jesus not the same religion.
061 31/23d: "To Us (Allah*) is their (peoples'*) return (at the Day of Doom*)". Often claimed in the Quran, never proved anywhere. And a claim believers in every religion make on behalf of their god(s).
062 31/23g: "- - - the truth - - -". See 2/2b above.
063 31/23h: "- - - Allah knows well all that is in (men's) hearts". See 2/233h above.
064 31/24a: "We (Allah*) grant them (well off non-Muslims*) their pleasure for a while: in the end shall we drive them to their chastisement unrelenting." There is a saying: "Good luck is good, but others' bad luck is not too bad either" - especially when you are envious. Muhammad was a good knower of humans and utilized this psychological effect frequently. This also was Muhammad's standard explanation for why some "bad" persons had a good life whereas good Muslims sometimes had a bad one - Allah's unfathomable wisdom. But do not be sad - they will be punished. But like normal for Muhammad: Never a proof for any central points of his religion.
065 31/25a: “If thou ask them who it is that created the heavens (plural and wrong once more*) and the earth, they will certainly say, ‘Allah’”. Wrong. If they believe a god created this, they certainly will name their own god(s) - though in the old Arabia this might have been the polytheistic god al-Lah. (But here is a hidden, but clear Arabism: The likeness of the pronunciation of al-Lah and Allah hides the difference when spoken - just like when the Muslims use the word God instead of Allah speaking to non-Muslims - it on the surface camouflages some of the fundamental differences there are between Allah and God/Yahweh for people with little knowledge.)
It is very clear according to the Quran that the creator is Allah. You find that statement – but never a proof – at least in these verses: 10/3 – 11/7 – 21/30 – 21/32 – 23/17 – 25/59 – 30/22 - 32/4 – 35/1 – 39/5 – 41/11 – 41/12 – 50/38 – 51/47 – 79/28. Also see 11/7a and 21/56c above.
066 31/25f: "But most of them (non-Muslim opponents of Muhammad*) understand not". Who understands? - he who understands something is wrong or he who believes blindly in the tales of a man of a dubious character and liking power and money and women? Many a false prophet has had a good life - and Muhammad never proved a comma about essential points. The easiest way to be cheated in most situations in life, is to be blind. and to believe blindly.
067 31/26a: "To Allah belong all things in heaven and earth - - -". Often claimed, never documented.
068 31/26e: "(Allah is*) worthy of all Praise". See first 1/1a above or 32/12b below, and see if you agree.
069 31/27c: "- - - the Words of Allah - - -". Words from Allah does not exist unless Allah exists - but beware that "words of Allah" may exist even if Allah exists, but belongs to the dark forces.
070 31/27d: "- - - Allah is Exalted in Power - - -". Perhaps, but in case he never clearly has shown his power.
071 31/27e: “- - - Allah is - - - Full of wisdom.” Not if the Quran is representative for his wisdom.
072 31/28a: "And your - - - recreation is in no wise but as an individual soul - - -". Actually according to the Quran, you are not resurrected as a soul, but bodily, though in the shape of a young person. Nothing is said about what age babies and children have when resurrected. Also nothing is said about f.x. mentally retarded persons in Paradise. And not a proof is given for this somewhat special claim.
073 31/28b: "- - - Allah is He Who hears and sees (all things)". This is an often repeated, but never proved warning to Muslims about on one hand to be good and obedient, or they will get punishment instead of joy, and on the other hand a reminder of that "be soothed" - the bad non-Muslims will get their well deserved punishment. Also see 2/233h above.
074 31/29b: “- - - Allah merges - - - Day into Night - - -.” This is one of the many natural phenomena Muhammad hijacked for his god without any proof or documentation. It is totally void of any value as a proof for Allah, unless it is proved that it really is Allah who spins the Earth in the light from the sun – the real reason for the alternation of day and night. Without such proofs, this just is another number of cheap, valueless words that anyone can use free of charge for his own god or gods. Also see 3/27 – 24/44 -25/62 – 31/29a (just above) – 35/12 – 39/5 – 40/61 – 41/37 – 45/5 57/6.
075 31/29c: “- - - He (Allah*) has subjected the sun and the moon (to His Law) - - -“. A nice proof for Allah - - - but only if it is proved that it really is he who moves them in their trajectories - and he who has made the laws of nature. Without such proofs, these just are cheap words in a valueless claim anyone can use totally free of charge – for Allah or for any other god, real or invented.
##076 31/30a: “That is because Allah is the (only) Realty - - -”. Is Allah really a reality? All the tales about him derives from just one man - a man even canonized Islamic history tells for long time lived as a chief highwayman and from robbing and extortion (for kidnapped salesmen, etc.) and slave taking. A man initiating assassinations and murders on his opponents (f.x. Asma bint Marwan (female poet), al-Nadr, Abu Uzza, and Ocba after the battle of Badr, Abu Afaq (said to be over 100 years old), Kab ibn al-Ashraf, Ibn Sunayana, Othman bin Moghira, Abi ‘l Huqayq, and not to forget Kinana b. l-Rabi whom he tortured to death to find riches, and afterwards he personally raped Kinana's 17 year old, newlywed wife Safijja (Muhammad was nearly 60 then). A man who initiated mass murder - once some 700 helpless male prisoners, and made all their children and women slaves - one of them, the mentioned Safijja bint Huayay (and another time Rayhana bint Amr), for his own personal use), a rapist with permission from Allah for himself and all his men to rape (“have sexual connections with” to use more polite words) all female slaves and captives - girls and women - who were not pregnant (this tells something about Allah, too). A man who initiated raids and wars and got 20% or more of all spoils of war, included slaves (though not all for his personal use). And a man lusting for power - easy to see both from the Quran and from Hadith. And a man - and a god - entirely unable to produce one iota of a real proof for the tales. (Sources: Among others: Ibn Hisham and Ibn Ishaq - both most respected by Islam for biographies about Muhammad. Ibn Ishaq‘s “The Life of Muhammad“ is the most respected of the old ones of all Muhammad biographies in Islam - written for the caliph in Baghdad around 750 AD - and commented on around 900 Ad by Ibn Hisham. Plus the Quran and Hadiths – Al-Bukhari and Muslim).
Only this man told the tales in the Quran - tales which on top of all have hundreds and hundreds of mistakes, at least hundreds of loose statements and hundreds of invalid “signs” and “profs”, etc. And loose statements, claims, and invalid “signs”/”proofs”, not to forget that most of his tales were from made up sources - apocryphal scriptures, legends, fairy tales, etc - ARE the hallmarks of cheats and deceivers, and of persons without true arguments.
A good and perfect man, according to Islam. If that is true, we hope never to meet a bad Muslim.
But a man normal people would say was dubious or stronger, and with a dubious morality. Is a dubious man with dubious morality and who is unable to produce the slightest proof, but for a lot of airy and partly illogical excuses for this inability, and even “signs” and “proofs” without value, plus at least some lies even in the Quran itself (like that real miracles would make no-one believe), is this such a man who tells just and only the undeniable and full truth? - and a man who never would deceive his followers?
And the only indication Islam has for the reality of Allah is the tales of that kind of a man. (This is in reality a main reason why Muhammad has to be pretended to be perfect and without any spot for Islam - if not the Quran is untrue and Islam a made up religion.)
One has to be naive in the extreme or brainwashed to believe that a man with such a morality and lust for power and women, could not deceive also his followers.
077 31/30c: "- - - whatever else they (non-Muslims*) invoke besides Him (Allah*), is Falsehood - - -". Well, even if we drop all other claimed gods, there still remains the problem Yahweh. If the old books tell the truth, he has proved his existence - and he is NOT the same god as Allah, like Muhammad liked to claim; fundamentally too different teachings.
078 31/30f: "- - - Falsehood - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses words like this, it is relative to the book's own partly immoral moral code.
079 31/30g: "- - - Allah - He is Most High, Most Great". Similar claims you find many places in the Quran, but you never find a proof - inside or outside the book.
080 31/31b: "Seest thou (opponent of Muhammad*) not that the ships sail through the Ocean by the Grace of Allah?". We only are able to see two things here: We see that the ships sailed through the oceans by means of the wind. And we see that there nowhere is proved that Allah has anything to do with the wind at all. Also see 11/7a above.
081 31/31c: “- - - His Signs - - -.” Invalid as proof for Allah or anything. See 2/39b and 2/99 above.
082 31/31d: "Verily - - -". It definitely is no proved verity/truth. See 2/2 above.
083 31/32b: "- - - (right and wrong) - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses words like this, it is relative to the book's own partly immoral moral code. Compared to the one and fundamental "constitution" of all inter human moral and all ethics, and of moral and ethical rules: "Do unto others like you want others to do unto you", the Quran's - and thus Islam's - moral code is unethical and immoral a number of places, even horrible some places. (F.x. the best deeds were raids and wars in the name of Allah - most of them in reality for riches, slaves and power. Muslims defend this with that such behavior only is permitted during jihad - holy war. But that is no defense - doing it in the name of the god in reality makes stealing, rape, enslavement, torture, and murder, etc. even more despicable).
084 31/32c: “- - - Our (Allah’s*) Signs - - -“. No omniscient and omnipotent god uses unreliable and/or unproved signs to prove his existence and power. Invalid as proofs for Allah.
085 31/32d: "But none reject Our (Allah's*) Signs except only a perfidious ungrateful (wretch)!" There is at least one grouper more: The ones who are intelligent enough and with enough knowledge to see that none of the so-called signs or proofs tell anything clear at all about Allah, unless it is proved he really causes the effect. Totally without any logical value, and something anyone can say about his/her god(s) free of charge.
086 31/33a: "Do your (Muslims'*) duty to your Lord (Allah*)". No-one even can have a duty to Allah unless he exists and is a god - well, if he exists and belongs to the dark forces, at least the question is very open.
087 31/33f: "Verily, the promise of Allah is true". There never in all history and before has been one single proved case of Allah even giving a promise, not to mention keeping one. The best proof for this, is Islam's silence on this point.
088 31/33h: "- - - nor let the Chief Deceiver deceive you about Allah." But if the Quran is a made up book - and at least it cannot be from a god with that many mistakes - who but Muhammad is then (one of) the chief deceiver(s)? (If he is not himself deceived by something or somebody, at least initially.)
089 31/33j: "- - - deceive - - - about Allah". Who is deceived - the blind believer or the one who sees that serious things are wrong in the Quran?
090 31/34b: "- - - knowledge - - -". Beware that when the Quran uses words like this, it normally (nearly always) means religious and related knowledge. This later used to be called "Islamic knowledge" and was good. All other sciences were "foreign knowledge" and were bad - even violently persecuted at times (a fact never mentioned by Muslims boasting about how Islam saved the old Greek and Persian knowledge - which largely was done not because of Islam, but in spite of Islam).
091 31/34e: "- - - (it is Allah*) Who knows what is in the wombs". One more of Muhammad's never proved claims.
092 31/34g: “Verily, with Allah is full knowledge and he is acquainted (with all things)”. All the mistakes in the Quran prove the opposite - - - or that someone else made the Quran.
093 31/34i: "- - - knowledge - - -". See 26/83a above.
5278 + 93 = 5371 remarks.
Not formed like questions for proofs, but what needs to be proved normally easy to see all the same. And: References you do not find here, go to "1000+ Comments on the Quran".
