I. Il, al-Ilah, al-Lah, Allah
I1. 24/35 compares Allah to a burning lamp, bright as if it were a brilliant star. What that has to do with astronomical “proofs” for anything in Islam or the Quran, we are unable to understand. May be this tells something about EIT or about Muslims eager hunt for “proofs”?
J. Jesus (and his time)
J1. (From “A Brief Illustrated Guide To Understand The Quran” – BIGUQ):
A strange logic:
“Now this was John’s (the Baptist) testimony, when the Jews of Jerusalem sent priests and Levites to ask him who he was. He did not fail to confess, but confessed freely, ‘I (John*) am not the Christ (the prophet foretold by Moses*)’. They asked him, ‘Then who are you? Are you Elijah?’ He said, ‘I (John*) am not’. ‘Are you the Prophet (another expression for the one – Messiah - foretold by Moses*)?’ He (John*) answered, ‘No’ (John 1/19-21). - - - We (BIGUQ*) conclude from this that Jesus Christ is not the prophet mentioned in 5. Mos. 18/18”.
John denied that he – John - was the foretold prophet. And BIGUQ’s conclusion from this is that also Jesus is not the mentioned prophet!
Is there any human older than 4 years who can explain us the logic behind this conclusion?
This even more so that there are sentences in John’s Gospel (not the same John), the very same Gospel BIGUQ which clearly indicates that John the Baptist meant Jesus was that prophet – facts BIGUQ forgets(?) to mention.
Al-Taqiyya (the lawful lie)? – Kitman (the lawful half-truth)? – Islamic/Muslim honesty in debate?
“Jesus could well be born without a father, because in some animals the females can get babies without the help of a male”. The last part is true. This way of getting children is called parthenogenesis. What Muslims do not mention, is that this only goes for some of the “lower” animals and for a few fish. It is not known to have ever happened among mammals. Another fact Muslims never mention, is that children who are results of parthenogenesis, always are females – girls. There is no exception to this rule. For this to be the explanation for Jesus, Yahweh (not Allah according to the Bible) first had to make the miracle of starting a parthenogenesis in a mammal, and then a new miracle to transform the fetus from a girl to a boy. (But as according to the Bible Yahweh has proved many kinds of power, this may well have been possible for him.)
But even in such a case Yahweh easily – easily for a god at least – could have fathered the mental part of the person Jesus, even if the physical was the result of a rather special parthenogenesis – and the mental part is what makes a human being human (or for that case divine).
